SILICON VALLEY SCUMBAGS Proto-fem (r) now offers synthetic biological companions and staff Tesla factory workers reveal pain, injury and stress: ‘Everything feels like the future but us’ Are Tesla_s The Gayest Cars On Earth? Yes! Here is Why…
The crimes and corruption of Elon Musk and Tesla Motors
We worked with Elon Musk and saw these crimes first-hand. We thought you should know so that you could decide if you want to be associated with Musk’s narcissistic, self-aggrandizing, corrupt, criminal schemes. Musk likes to talk about futuristic bullshit but his workers (that have sued him for fraud, safety issues, racism, off-shoring domestic jobs, sexual harassment and more…) can talk about his prehistoric social deviancies at great length.
Elon Musk and his executives are criminals. They will lie, cheat, bribe, steal, sabotage others, rig the stock market, create fake financial data at the drop of a hat and cover-up their huge numbers of safety defects. They got hundreds of millions of dollars of YOUR taxpayer resources and used it to rig elections, manipulate stock markets and sabotage competitors. They bribe public officials to run cover for them at your expense. Elon Musk is a sick pervert who requires constant media attention and has depraved bi-sexual control needs. Look at his multiple divorces and the text of the abuse lawsuits from his wives, former partners, investors, employees, customers and others. While Musk spends your tax money buying cover-ups in the main-stream media, he can never cover-up the fact that he is simply a mobster who sweet-talked Google’s owners into financing his scheme. Musk stole Tesla from the founders of Tesla in a hostile take-over. Musk has invented NOTHING!
Elon Musk did not “win” any state or federal funding. He had all of his taxpayer cash hard-wired to him in a series of back-room crony payola deals. In a fair fight, Musk would have LOST (horribly) all of his funding if you compared his metrics, performance data and customer orders to every other applicant at the time. In other words, in a side-by-side shoot-out, comparing Musk’s applications with those of every other applicant for the same funds: Musk had the worst possible metrics of ANY other applicant. In spite of this, California State officials and Department of Energy staff were “ordered”, by their superiors, to hand Musk the illicit taxpayer money, and deny funds to his competitors, in order to stage the slush-funds created by the Department of Energy and The California State Controllers offices.
** If you saw the REAL financial records for Tesla/Solyndra/SpaceX you would see that Musk’s operations are smoke-and-mirrors. Musk cooks the books and manipulates financial data.
** One of Musk’s top SpaceX engineers just sued Musk and revealed that Musk lies about the dangers at SpaceX.
** You may think Musk has many fans on the internet but those “fans” are actually young Asian girls in overseas factories who have rows of phones set-up in front of them to pretend to be different people on the web. They are called “shills” and “trolls” and the factories they work in are called “Click-Farms” and “Troll-Farms”. Musk pays their bosses to have them create fake media hype about him on the internet because he is a sociopath who demands the public eye.
** You would get physically ill if you knew how many Tesla owners had been burned alive in their cars, had their Tesla’s suddenly swerve off the road and go over a cliff or into a tree and had set their buildings on fire. The main stream media covers up all of these problems because the 7 men who control the main stream media are Tesla investors. You have never heard about all of the deaths, injuries and disasters that Tesla has caused but we have and we have them all documented. Tesla is still around because of one of the biggest cover-ups you ever saw.
** Guess who else covers up the criminal corruption of Tesla Motors: California Senators Feinstein and Pelosi, Nevada Senator Reed, all of the New York Senators and California Governor Jerry Brown. Why? Because they are investors and campaign finance recipients of Elon Musk’s technology mobster Cartel! That’s right! These scumbag politicians are covering up crimes and life-threatening dangers in order to line their pockets! We told all of this to the FBI’s James Comey but then, you know, he got himself fired and charged with running political protection operations just like we are talking about here!
** Let us tell you about a beautiful young college graduate named Casey Speckman, her whole life was ahead of her. She would still be alive today if her crash had not been in a Tesla. She burned alive because Tesla knew it’s batteries would explode in a crash and Tesla chose profits over safety after being warned about the lithium ion battery dangers.
** The Middle East bad guys are now using lithium ion batteries to blow up airliners because Elon Musk’s lithium ion batteries are so easy to explode. Musk has known this since 2006! We have the papers that prove it!
** Peter Thiel, Google owner Larry Page and other homosexual billionaires help cover-up Musk’s crimes because Musk is sometimes their “special friend”. Do not let billionaires hide the truth from you. Demand a public investigation.
** If you have an ounce of morality, then you will not want to help Musk & Tesla profit from the crony political corruption that created them. Musk exists because he bribes politicians & acts as an illegal campaign financing conduit.
** Why have so many Tesla’s suddenly swerved off the road, over cliffs and into innocent bystanders? Because the CIA software that can take-over a Tesla has been leaked to every 14 year old hacker on Earth! Tesla drivers are dead because Tesla cars can be instantly and easily hacked, taken over and turned into listening devices by any kid with an Android phone.
** When bad news emerges about Musk or Tesla; Google, Kleiner Perkins, Draper Fisher and Goldman Sachs suddenly buy some Tesla stock so the little line on the stock market graph goes up for a few days. At the same time they use their MSM media control to release a BS press release. This is called “pumping the stock” and “covering the hole”. It is a stock market fraud tactic which seeks to hide the fact that Musk’s companies are in a constant state of failure.
** DOT/NHTSA has covered up years of reports about an acceleration surge issue that can suddenly crash your Tesla into walls and drive it off cliffs. It is either a known hacking attack or the effect of WiFi on Tesla electronics. Either can kill you.
** Musk & Tesla are pure evil & exist because of hyper-corruption. You don’t want to contribute to their evil or be part of it in any way. You are funding evil & supporting criminal corruption by buying a Tesla or any Elon Musk owned product like Solar City, Tesla, Space X, Hyperloop, etc.!
** Elon Musk spent more money, than any other car company in history, to do the exact same things that any other car has done, or could do, for 20 times less money. Musk’s Tesla was $100,000.00 over budget, per car, at the time that Musk was handed his crony Dept. of Energy froms by Steven Chu. Musk has no clue how to operate a car company.
** In one lawsuit it is noted that: “…Plaintiff and Tesla both applied for funds at the same time, in the same funding cycle in the same program. Tesla had the historically epic number of horrific issues listed below, which were known to DOE at the time of application, and Plaintiffs had NONE of these issues. How can any court, or rational person, believe that Plaintiffs were not intentionally bypassed, targeted and damaged for political reasons while Tesla was simultaneously approved for political reasons, when the comparative metrics between the two applicants prove the largest merit disparity in the entire recorded history of the U.S. Department of Energy….the singular, and only, review criteria used by Department of Energy officials was: WHICH ONE BRIBED THE CAMPAIGN FINANCE GROUP FOR BARACK OBAMA?!”; Thus proving that Tesla exists because of organized-crime level political corruption.
** Elon Musk’s self-driving “autopilot” feature, which keeps crashing and failing, is his attempt to scam taxpayer cash from Dept. of Transportation and Dept. of Energy public funds. He is only trying to do it to get more free federal cash.
** The inventor of lithium ion batteries has confessed that lithium ion batteries blow up eventually. He says that deadly dendrites plague lithium-ion battery technology. The dendrites accumulate as part of the standard charging and recharging cycle and eventually cause a short circuit that often results in a smoldering or burning battery. These dendrites are destined to eventually blow up most Tesla cars and many electronic devices using lithium ion!
** The CIA’s software designed to take over any Tesla on Earth and kill the driver, passengers and bystanders has been released in the wild and every hacker on Earth can now easily get a copy of it and kill you in your Tesla!
** Ex-employees have leaked faked financial records, evidence of massive click-farm fake social media manipulation and evidence of unreported deaths and accidents. They say that most Tesla’s have one kind of defect or another.
** If you read about the dirty deeds and cocaine dealings with the In-Q-Tel airplanes called “Cocaine 1” & “Cocaine 2”, & the corruption behind the company called In-Q-Tel & Musk’s software programmer who ran “The Silk Road” drug & murder service then you must be concerned that many In-Q-Tel people work for Musk. Why does Musk need dirty druggies & spies on his payroll unless he is running covert drug and business spying activities?
** Ex-employees, Gawker writers and gay lawyers from Covington & Burling have leaked stories that Elon Musk, Reid Hoffman, Larry Page, Peter Thiel and others are “butt buddies” and may be involved in “Pizzagate”.
** Musk is anti-American and Anti-Worker Rights and has been caught flying in H1-B cheap offshore labor and exploiting immigrants for his deadly profits. Musk hates unions and worker rights efforts.
** Elon Musk gets the Cobalt chemical to make his lithium ion batteries from slave trade and blood-money corruption in the Congo!
** Tesla Cars are just gay as hell and show the driver to be either a closet homosexual or an arrogant prick.
** The lithium ion batteries that Musk uses also blow up when they naturally encounter Low Energy Nuclear (LENR) effects in the ambient environment. Millions of chemicals don’t blow up from LENR’d but lithium ion does!
** If you are a Democrat then know that Elon Musk cost you the Hillary Clinton campaign because of his payola schemes. If you are a Republican, know that Elon Musk is the epitome of the worst form of DNC crony corruption you ever saw!
** Musk bribed California politicians to give him hundreds of millions of dollars of taxpayer dollars & resources he never earned or worked for. He only got those crony payola perks handed to him because he operated as an illicit front for corrupt campaign financing for Dianne Feinstein, Jerry Brown, Harry Reid, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
** Multiple parties have filed “Demands For The Arrest of Elon Musk” with the FBI, DOJ, AG, FTC, SEC and other law enforcement agencies. It is not likely that Musk, or his companies will survive a full investigation.
** Tesla and Solyndra sit on the same land in Fremont, CA. Solyndra was raided by the FBI for corruption. Tesla SHOULD be raided by the FBI for corruption. Both companies had kick-back crony payola schemes with Senator Dianne Feinstein. She owned the land, lease, HR, construction company and supplier interests and stock for both companies in one of the most massive conflict-of-interest crony financing schemes in U.S. history. Elon Musk and the Feinsteins are corruption partners.
** People who see you in a Tesla think of you as a “Tone Deaf Douchebag”, “Tesla Tool!”, “Arrogant Prick”, “Ostentatious Obama Oaf”, “Sheep”, “Mindless Yuppie Scum”, “Misogynistic Silicon Valley Clone”, “Self-promoting Elitist Douche”, “Fake News Reading Main Stream Boob”, “Naive Idiot” or other bad things.
** Elon Musk is one of the main financiers behind Barack Obama & Hillary Clinton, both of whom have been charged with corruption. Musk endlessly tweets lies & “…No I didn’t do those bad things” BS but nobody else supports him.
** Tesla financial records are “cooked” in a fraudulent manner to make the stock market valuation of Tesla a falsely manipulated factor. Musk uses “pre-orders”, by his own investors, to fake sales and wrote emails to customers asking them to put small deposits down so he could book them as fully paid sales in one of a large number of stock and loan valuation frauds. Musk and his investors practice stock market skims, pump-and-dumps and Flash Boy manipulations.
** Lithium ion batteries are blowing up, starting fires &, generally, destroying people’s homes, cars, electronics & physical health. Boeing was ordered to stop flying the 787 Dreamliner because it’s Lithium ion batteries are catching fire spontaneously. A group of silicon valley venture capitalists forced/leveraged the government to buy & pay for these specific batteries, that they have stock in, in order to benefit their profit margins. Other batteries don’t have these problems. They knew about the dangers from day one, but put greed ahead of safety. There are thousands & thousands of reports of spontaneous lithium ion fires but the VC’s who back lithium ion pay to keep this information hushed up. Millions of these batteries have been recalled for fire risk. The VC’s tried to push as many as they could before they got caught. Now they are caught. These VC’s & the Senators they bribed own stock in lithium mining companies too. HERE IS THE PROOF: HTTP://LITHIUMBATTERYCOVERUP.COM
** Tesla Motors has filed a patent which states the following , THESE ARE TESLA MOTORS WORDS warning about a crisis, the level of which they never disclosed to the consumer: “Thermal runaway is of major concern since a single incident can lead to significant property damage &, in some circumstances, bodily harm or loss of life. When a battery undergoes thermal runaway, it typically emits a large quantity of smoke, jets of flaming liquid electrolyte, & sufficient heat to lead to the combustion & destruction of materials in close proximity to the cell. If the cell undergoing thermal runaway is surrounded by one or more additional cells as is typical in a battery pack, then a single thermal runaway event can quickly lead to the thermal runaway of multiple cells which, in turn, can lead to much more extensive collateral damage. Regardless of whether a single cell or multiple cells are undergoing this phenomenon, if the initial fire is not extinguished immediately, subsequent fires may be caused that dramatically expand the degree of property damage. For example, the thermal runaway of a battery within an unattended laptop will likely result in not only the destruction of the laptop, but also at least partial destruction of its surroundings, e.g., home, office, car, laboratory, etc. If the laptop is on-board an aircraft, for example within the cargo hold or a luggage compartment, the ensuing smoke & fire may lead to an emergency landing or, under more dire conditions, a crash landing. Similarly, the thermal runaway of one or more batteries within the battery pack of a hybrid or electric vehicle may destroy not only the car, but may lead to a car wreck if the car is being driven or the destruction of its surroundings if the car is parked”. See http://whoiselonmusk.com for more…
** Tesla’s own staff, & every fire department, have now admitted that once a lithium ion fire gets started in a Tesla, that it is impossible to extinguish burning lithium ion material. This is Telsa’s own words in THEIR patent filing, (You can look it up online) saying that the risk is monumental. Tesla has 6800 lithium ion batteries, any one of which can “go thermal”, start a chain reaction and blow up all of the rest of the 6800+ deadly batteries! Tesla drivers have been burned alive in thermal globs of flaming lithium ion, plastics & metal. Bystanders have heard their horrific screams of unutterable pain & terror as they were burned alive! Tesla fires can’t be extinguished & the bodies are burned into “unrecognizable lumps of charred flesh”, according to fireman.
** Lithium Ion batteries “go thermal” in peoples pockets, in your notebook, especially in a Tesla & Fisker car. There are tens of thousands of articles documenting this & there is a cover-up by the VC’s that fund these things to keep this fact out-of-sight. Making Lithium Ion batteries poisons the workers who make them. It is a dangerous product that is covered-up by the Obama Administration. Panasonic knows that these batteries are deadly.
** Tesla only exists to exploit Elon Musk’s briberies. The lithium ion batteries blow up when they get: wet, hot, bumped, over-charged, struck by energy fields, exposed to air or squashed. Lithium ion batteries poison the Earth & that they poison & kill the workers that make them. Lithium ion batteries come from war profiteering in Afghan & Bolivian corruption.
** Panasonic is Elon Musk’s partner. Panasonic is one of the most corrupt companies in the world. Panasonic has been charged, on multiple continents with: Product dumping, bribery, collusion, price fixing, anti-trust law violations, racketeering, worker abuse, toxic poisoning of workers, & other crimes. It is no wonder that Elon Musk & Panasonic are partners. Tata Motors executive Karl Slym was killed for exposing this fact.
** Your tax dollars were stolen in order to make Tesla Motors, as part of a political financing kick-back scam. In other words, part of your paycheck was taken away from you in order to buy hookers, rent-boys & private jets for Musk & company.
** Tesla’s are forged in criminal corruption, so anybody who drives a Tesla must be either ignorant, a weasel or one of the corrupt. The whole world now knows all of the facts in this list so you can never plead ignorance to these crimes.
** Telsa’s have a huge amount of highly documented defects. The defects are so extensive that Tesla made buyers sign confidentiality agreements to try to hide how messed up their cars are.
** Tesla’s have killed more people than the main-stream news has reported. The full Tesla death-list is covered up.
** Musk lied about why he wanted to make electric cars, when, in fact, he actually poisons the environment because Tesla investors wanted to exploit toxic minerals & materials which can’t be recycled in a clean manner
** No other electric car has been so mundane, & yet had so many problems with it, since the electric car was first sold in the 1800’s. There is nothing “novel” or “amazing” about the Tesla aside from dime store parlor tricks for PR hype.
** More drunks have crashed Tesla’s, than any other per capita car in the world, per volume of cars made
** Elon Musk’s co-founders, investors, partners, wives, investors, suppliers & employees have sued him for being a fraud &, essentially, called him an “asshole” in court records.
** Elon Musk lied on this Department of Energy funding application and the Obama Administration refuses to allow any federal employees or witnesses to testify to these facts in public due to the devastating potential results of these facts.
** More owners of Tesla’s have been found to cheat on their taxes, & be involved in abuse-based divorces, than almost any other car brand owner. Tesla owners are bad people who rationalize their poor life choices. Owning a Tesla is a red-flag for a tax audit!
** Elon Musk will lie, cheat & steal in order to self-aggrandize & glorify his egotistical mania. Musk has been documented engaging in over 100 lies which were later proven to be false. He has spent tens of millions of dollars to buy fake news about himself on Twitter, Facebook & Google because he is such a mentally disturbed ego-maniac.
** None of Elon Musk’s companies would exist if not for taxpayer funded handouts given to him by corrupt politicians in exchange for illegal campaign finance deals with him & his investors.
** Google, & Tesla, who are financial & political partners, have both been caught spying on consumers & manipulating Internet data in order to cover-up their complicity in huge political corruption & kick-back deals
** Musk took U.S. taxpayer dollars from the government & then hired cheap off-shore labor & fired U.S. Union workers & domestic workers. He lied to & screwed the NUMMI workers that were working at the Fremont plant.
** Musk has put over 18 surveillance devices in the Tesla. Anybody can hack those devices & monitor you. WORSE YET, foreign agents have hacked the Tesla & taken over the controls & driven Tesla’s into bystanders & over cliffs.
** When Erick Strickland was head of the NHTSA he was confronted about DOT safety cover-ups of the Tesla to protect Obama. He quit 48 hours later. The DOT safety cover-ups to protect the Obama campaign finance payola scheme continue to this day. Obama’s Gibbs, Emanual, Plouffe, Axelrod and Carney quit within a week of being threatened with exposure.
** Tesla’s have had a large number of recalls but Elon Musk refuses to call them “recalls”. Tesla’s have had multiple recalls for SEVERE safety dangers. DOT has been told this, in writing, for years, but wont take action in order to protect Obama.
** Elon Musk is a bullshit artist who has no original ideas & wears black-turtle neck shirts (like Elizabeth Homes) to try to create a “cult” around himself & convince the world that he is a “Jesus-like” figure when, in fact, he is a clinical sociopath.
** Tesla is a severe public safety hazard that has been systematically covered up by corrupt politicians.
** Large numbers of Ex-CIA staff and In-Q-Tel spy staff work for Musk. Why does he need spies to build cars?
** Tesla Motors batteries were promoted by those who wished to exploit the Afghanistan War for personal profit by controlling the Afghan lithium mining fields. Kleiner Perkins and Draper Fisher hyped the “…trillions of $ of lithium in Afganistan.”
** Tesla Motors batteries blow up on their own.
** Tesla Motors batteries blow up when they get wet.
** Tesla Motors batteries fires cannot be put out by any common fire-fighting resources.
** Tesla Motors batteries set themselves on fire.
** Per Federal MSDS disclosure documents, Tesla Motors batteries emit cancer-causing vapors when they burn.
** Tesla Motors Vehicles toxicity poison bystanders, nearby vehicular passengers, airline passengers in planes carrying said batteries in their holds, & environments where such incidents occur.
** Tesla Motors batteries blow up when bumped by the same level of car incident that would, otherwise, only dent a normal car bumper.
** In an accident, when a Tesla rolls over, molten metal & plastic can drip on & burn the occupants alive.
** Tesla has multiple sexual harassment and unsafe work-place lawsuits against the company.
** Per MSDS documents, Tesla Motors batteries emit brain damaging chemicals when they burn.
** Tesla is a stock pumping scam to profiteering on stock market peak manipulation at the expense of taxpayers.
** Per MSDS documents, Tesla Motors batteries emit chemicals, burning, or not, that can damage an unborn fetus.
** Per MSDS documents, Tesla Motors batteries emit chemicals that can cause lung damage.
** Per MSDS documents, Tesla Motors batteries emit chemicals that can cause liver damage.
** Per published lawsuits & news reports, the factories that make Tesla Motors batteries have been charged with the deaths, & potentially fatal illness, of over 1000 workers & the poisoning of nearby towns.
** Tesla Motors batteries become even more dangerous over time, particularly when tasked by electric transportation systems like Hover-boards & Tesla’s. The chemistry in a lithium ion battery changes to become more unstable over time.
** Tesla Motors batteries were never designed to be used in automobiles. Tesla used non-automotive batteries in one of the most dangerous configurations possible.
** Tesla Motors occupants experience higher EMF radiation exposure than gasoline vehicle occupants.
** Elon Musk’s Space X vehicles & Tesla Motors vehicles have both had a higher-than-average number of explosions. This has caused outside experts to doubt Musk’s ability to place safety considerations over his need for hyped-up PR.
** Leaked Sandia National Labs & FAA research videos dramatically demonstrate the unstoppable, horrific, “re-percussive accelerating domino-effect” explosive fire effect of the Tesla Motors batteries.
** Tesla’s own “Superchargers” & home 3-prong chargers have set Tesla’s, homes & businesses on fire.
** Consumer rights groups contacted Erick Strickland, the head of the NHTSA, & charged him with a cover-up. He quit days later. The NHTSA then issued a safety investigation request to Tesla Motors, which would have more publicly exposed these dangers, but the safety investigation was never under-taken due to White House requests & lobbyist bribes, from Tesla, which got the investigation shut down.
** NEPA regulations for the Tesla NUMMI factory in California & the Nevada Tesla “Gigafactory” have been violated relative to environmental safety standards. See http://xyzcase.xyz for details.
** Tesla Motors vehicles are not “Factory Built” “like Ford” builds cars, as Tesla professes. They are hand built in small volumes & subjected to numerous defects. Blogs have documented hundreds of defects, as listed by Tesla owners. Tesla has lost at least one LEMON CAR LAWSUIT for defective manufacturing.
** Tesla’s “showrooms” are often “pop-up” retail storefronts that are in tight-proximity retail centers, putting it’s neighbors at risk of total loss from fire damage.
** Tesla Motors vehicles have been hacked & taken over. Their doors, steering, listening devices & navigation have been taken over by outside parties. Multiple Tesla have suddenly swerved off the road, over cliffs & into other vehicles, killing bystanders & Tesla drivers.
** Three Tesla top engineers & two competing senior executives, all of whom had whistle-blown on Tesla, who were in perfect health one day, suddenly died mysteriously the next day.
** Multiple employees, founders, investors, marital partners, suppliers & others have sued Tesla Motors, &/or it’s senior executives for fraud. Musk had nothing to do with creating Tesla. He ran a hostile take-over of Tesla from the founders.
** In addition to suing him, many of his former staff & partners have described Musk as an “Arrogant Prick”.
** Main-Stream Media (MSM) have agreed not to provide news coverage of the deadly defects of the Tesla because the MSM are owned by the same politicians who own Tesla Motors. It is now legal to sue The New York Times for hiding these deadly defects, though, particularly if your family member was injured or killed because they covered-up the danger for political reasons.
** If you think the above bullet-points are bad there are over a 1000 more. Find the book “Is Elon Musk A Fraud” online or visit https://stopelonfromfailingagain.com/ or thousands of other sites that expose the truth about Musk & Tesla!
If you think these things are bad, send this document to the FBI, The FTC, The GAO, The SEC, The FCC, U.S. Congress (they work for you and get paid, from your tax dollars, to help you). Also send this to all of the independent news outlets and ask them for a written response to your question of: “What are you going to do about this?”. Demand an answer and share your answer from them on social media!

“Friends- It has come to our attention that tens of thousands of independent news sites, like Streisand Effect News, are being cut off by WORDPRESS if those sites post any news that is “anti-Clinton” or “anti-Obama”. WORDPRESS bosses were the financiers of the DNC yet WORDPRESS promotes itself as a “fair unbiased media engine”. After years of work and huge numbers of writer/readers on each site, these news sites are finding themselves unceremoniously deleted without notice. With the loss of all of those years of work, it is tragic. We stand with our friends at all of the news sites being affected and encourage a boycott of, and outcry to, WORDPRESS, such as that described in the attached, so that FREE PRESS can still mean just that! Here are some emails from the battle between WordPress’s Sal and Streisand Effect News:”
From Streisand Effect News:
“…That is not a blog. It is a public news WIKI Like Reddit, Facebook, Voat, or Facebook. The members are allowed to post anything they want as members of the public. We do not allow censorship and we work with EFF, ACLU and public interest law groups to sue companies and their staff who censor. The internet operates by using hyperlinks to add details to all content. Collaborative public editing of articles on our WIKI and millions of other information WIKI’s using WikiPedia and Google docs collaborative editing ensures that all hyperlinks are random. We ran that link through a link checker and no links point to anything commercial except the ads that WORDPRESS put on the bottom of that news WIKI. The internet reports that a “Sal P. | Community Guardian” at WordPress is an active supporter of Hillary Clinton. That is great but we encourage no support of any political candidate. If you have a rigid devotion to one candidate and you, for example, thought that tattoos were “Anti-Hillary” then that would be a policy problem at WordPress and not something that we should be subjected to, right? There is nothing commercial allowed on our site yet WORDPRESS puts commercial ads on our site.
In light of the extensive news articles, like:
BCC: The top 1000 reporters for human rights, free press and web rights publications..”

Hillary insiders are speaking out.
A new book set to be released next week reveals how much of a whiny angry b*tch Hillary Clinton was during the campaign.
The Hill reported:
‘We Got An Ass-Chewing’
Hillary was so mad she couldn’t think straight. She was supposed to be focused on the prep session for that night’s Univision debate in Miami, but a potent mix of exhaustion and exasperation bubbled up inside.
She’d been humiliated in the Michigan primary the night before, a loss that not only robbed her of a prime opportunity to put Bernie Sanders down for good but also exposed several of her weaknesses. How could she have been left so vulnerable? She knew — or at least she thought she did. The blame belonged to her campaign team, she believed, for failing to hone her message, energize important constituencies and take care of business in getting voters to the polls. And now, Jake Sullivan, her de facto chief strategist, was giving her lip about the last answer she’d delivered in the prep session.
“That’s not very good,” Sullivan corrected.
“Really?” Hillary snapped back.
The room fell silent.
“Why don’t you do it?”
The comment was pointed and sarcastic, but she meant it. So for the next 30 minutes, there he was, pretending to be Hillary while she critiqued his performance.
Every time the Yale lawyer and former high school debate champ opened his mouth, Hillary cut him off. “That isn’t very good,” she’d say. “You can do better.” Then she’d hammer him with a Bernie line.
It wasn’t just Sullivan in her crosshairs. She let everyone on her team have it that day. “We haven’t made our case,” she fumed. “We haven’t framed the choice. We haven’t done the politics.”
“She was visibly, unflinchingly pissed off at us as a group,” said one aide who was in the room for the humiliating scene. “And she let us know she felt that way.”

‘It’s a perfect storm’: homeless spike in rural California linked to Silicon Valley
At first glance, the rusted metal pens in the central California town of Patterson look like an open-air prison block. But for Devani Riggs, “the cages”, abandoned since the days they were used to store the bounty of the self-proclaimed apricot capital of the world, play a very different role.
“This one was mine. That one was Patty and Pete,” said Riggs, a 3o-year-old homeless woman, adding that dozens of people had slept in the cramped enclosures.
California’s Central Valley is best known for supplying nearly 25% of the country’s food, including 40% of the fruit and nuts consumed each year. Yet today, backcountry places such as Patterson, population 22,000, are experiencing an increase in homelessness that can be traced, in part, to an unlikely sounding source: Silicon Valley.
The million-dollar home prices about 85 miles west, in San Francisco and San Jose, have pushed aspiring homeowners to look inland. Patterson’s population has doubled since the 2000 census. Average monthly rents have climbed from about $900 in 2014 to nearly $1,600 in recent months, according to the apartment database Rent Jungle, compounding the hardships of the foreclosure crisis, the shuttering of several local agricultural businesses and surging substance abuse rates.
“The rents in Patterson are crazy,” said Romelia Wiley, program manager of the local not-for-profit organization Community Housing & Shelter Services. “Why? I-5.”
The freeway offers commuters access to high-paying job centers near the coast, and the number of people commuting to the Bay Area from the portion of the Central Valley that includes Patterson more than doubled between 1990 and 2013, to about 65,000 people, or at least 15% of the local workforce, according to an analysis by the University of the Pacific.
One fast-growing city, Turlock, began running buses with free wifi to Bay Area train stations last August. Development advocates such as San Francisco’s Bay Area Council are promoting proposals to expand rail service between the Central and Silicon valleys, including a planned high-speed line. Ultimately, the group predicts a “northern California megaregion” fueled by growth in tech jobs, with the Central Valley offering ample land for bedroom communities.
“The families who live here just can’t compete with the commuters,” said Michele Gonzales, deputy director of a local housing authority.
Back in 1908, the Patterson Ranch Company set out to build its namesake city as a small-scale, rural version of Paris or Washington, withboulevards radiating out from a circular town center. Their blueprint lives on today in a tiny downtown dotted with auto shops and a few casual restaurants, the houses gradually getting bigger toward the almond groves on the edge of town.
A hulking new Amazon fulfillment center has opened just off the Patterson exit on the freeway, but otherwise, good-paying local jobs are hard to come by. One monument to past prosperity is the concrete slab on which the Pacific California tomato cannery stood until 2009. Today it is littered with shopping carts and clothes.
For locals such as Randy Albrea, the Silicon Valley sprawl is already hard to miss in small towns such as Patterson.
“It’s become what I would call a commuter city of the Bay Area,” said Albrea, a 69-year-old air force veteran who lives at Patterson’s only homeless shelter, which has 16 beds.
Albrea was raised on a nearby farm that grew “a little bit of everything”. After a legal dispute claimed the family home, he lived in his car with his son and his pit bull, Lady. When he was forced to retire as a funeral director, his fixed income left few market-rate options, while about 10,000 people in the county are already waiting for housing vouchers to help subsidize rent.
“You know an animal chasing its tail?” Albrea said. “That’s what I feel like sometimes.”
Some of Albrea’s friends have struggled, too, though a few with land have been able to sell their farms to housing developers. Just off a palmy thoroughfare not far from the Walmart that opened a few years ago, there is a development called Bella Flora. The 74 homes behind an ivy-adorned concrete wall start at $324,000, attracting roughly equal numbers of Bay Area and local prospective buyers, according to the realtor Eric Rodriguez.
“The Bay Area is a big part of our market,” Rodriguez said from his post at a 2,291-square-foot, four-bedroom, ranch-style model home christened The Covington.
Varying city and county estimates put Patterson’s homeless population at 60 to 80 peopleat a minimum on any one night, up from fewer than 20 people onlythreeyears ago. The numbers are small compared to San Francisco or Los Angeles, but for Patterson they are unprecedented.
In the county at large, about 1,400 homeless people were tallied during the last count and another 18,000 are considered “imminently homeless”, sleeping in cars, motels or couch surfing.
“We could probably build a new facility and fill it today,” said Kevin Carroll, executive director of a shelter in Modesto, the county seat, about20 miles away. He turns away two dozen women and children a month due to a lack of beds. “This is a perfect storm.”
Services are limited in Patterson, which is unsurprising given that it doesn’t even have its own police department (and contracts instead with the county sheriff). Religious groups have tried to fill the void for the homeless. A group called Trust in Jesus Cuisine, for instance, serves daily lunches in downtown’s sleepy North Park.
“There were no services,” said Gordon Barbosa, a churchgoer and a board member of the religious group that started the town’s shelter. “Our local government isn’t doing it.”
On a recent Saturday, Devani Riggs, 30, and a friend set out to make their own money. They lugged three heavy barrels of bottles and cans to the local recycling center.
It’s a far cry from the waitressing job she loved at the regionally famous Pea Soup Andersen’s restaurant in her nearby hometown, Gustine. She lost the family’s $750-a-month, three-bedroom home after her mother died and her heroin use spiraled out of control. The “cages” were a desperate measure – they are totally open on top, rendering the occupants susceptible to rain and to unwelcome visitors scaling the sides.
Riggs’ recycling haul was weighed, and she cashed out.
“I’m getting my tax return next week,” she said. She hoped it would be enough to start over in a city where, just over the mountains from a tech boom, the barriers to entry are ever higher.
Security researchers at Wordfence are reporting that thousands of hacked home routers are attacking WordPress sites. Wordfence firewall and malware scanner products are in use on more than 2 million WordPress sites and the company estimates that 6.7% of all attacks on these sites are coming from hacked home routers.
“In the past month alone we have seen over 57,000 unique home routers being used to attack WordPress sites,” Wordfence CEO Mark Maunder said. “Those home networks are now being explored by hackers who have full access to them via the hacked home router. They can access workstations, mobile devices, wifi cameras, wifi climate control and any other devices that use the home WiFi network.”
Maunder said his team has mostly seen brute force attacks targeting both wp-login.php (the traditional login endpoint for WordPress) and also XMLRPC login. They have also seen a small percentage of complex attacks. Wordfence has detected a total of 67 million individual attacks from the routers the company identified in March.
While Wordfence researchers were creating their monthly attack report, they noticed that Algeria had jumped in rankings from position 60 to 24 in thier “Top Attacking Countries” list. Their review of attack data in Algeria revealed a ‘long tail’ of more than 10,000 attacking IPs originating from an Algerian state owned ISP.
A vulnerability known as “misfortune cookie” is being used in these attacks. It hijacks a service that ISP’s use to remotely manage home routers by listening on port number 7547. ISP’s should close general internet access to this port, but many have not.
“It appears that attackers have exploited home routers on Algeria’s state owned telecommunications network and are using the exploited routers to attack WordPress websites globally,” Maunder said.
Wordfence researchers scanned the devices to find out what services they are running and found that they are Zyxel routers usually used in a home internet setting. They found that many of them have a severe and well-known vulnerability in RomPager, the embedded web server from AllegroSoft.
“We then dug deeper and discovered that many ISPs around the world have this same issue and those routers are attacking WordPress sites via brute force attacks,” Maunder said.
I spoke with Tony Perez, CEO of Sucuri to see if his team has detected anything similar. Sucuri also tracks WordPress brute force attempts, but Perez said current numbers are not remarkable when compared historically to mid-2016.
“I think the reason Sucuri and other companies are not seeing this is because it is a weak ranking signal for malicious behavior,” Maunder said. “As we point out in the report, each of these IPs is only doing between 50 and 1000 attacks per month on sites. They also only attack for a few hours each. These combined are a very weak ranking signal for malicious behavior. That low frequency also makes the attacks more effective because they are less likely to be blocked.”
This particular security issue is unusual in that the vulnerability is with the routers, not with WordPress itself. The attackers bulk hack thousands of devices, upload a WordPress attack script and a list of targets, and then they have thousands of routers under their control to attack WordPress sites.
This type of botnet isn’t terribly uncommon, as security researchers from from ESET recently uncovered a new malware called Sathurbot that uses torrent files as a method of distributing coordinated brute-force attacks on WordPress sites. The vulnerability in this instance is not in the software but rather in weak WordPress administrator accounts.
Protecting against brute force attacks starts with a strong administrator password. There are also many popular plugins, such as Shield Security, the Jetpack Protect module, iThemes Security, and Wordfence, which offer protection from brute force attacks.
If you want to make sure your router is not vulnerable to being recruited for these attacks, Wordfence has created a tool that makes it easy to check. It detects whether your home router has port 7547 open or if it’s running a vulnerable version of RomPager. If you find that your router is vulnerable or port 7547 is open, Wordfence has published instructions for how to secure your device.
The cost of California’s public pensions is breaking the bank. Here’s one reason this problem is so hard to fix
The fate of reform measures hangs on ballot language written by the state attorney general, usually a Democrat elected with strong union support.
REPORTING FROM SACRAMENTO |
More than 20 times in the last 15 years, political leaders looking to control California’s fast-growing public pension costs have tried to put reform initiatives before the voters.
None of the proposals has made it onto the ballot.
Often, advocates could not raise enough money for signature gathering, advertising and other costs of an initiative campaign. Some of the most promising efforts, however, ran into a different kind of obstacle: an official summary, written by the state attorney general, that described the initiative in terms likely to alienate voters. Facing bleak prospects at the polls, the sponsors abandoned the campaigns.
Taxpayer advocates contend that the attorneys general — Democrats elected with robust support from organized labor — put a finger on the scale, distilling the initiatives in language that echoed labor’s rhetoric.
Labor leaders say the summaries were neutral and accurate, and that the problem lay with the initiatives — which, they contend, would have diluted benefits already promised to public employees.
The attorney general’s title and summary, which appear on petitions and in the official voter guide, can powerfully shape attitudes toward a ballot measure. The language has emerged as a battleground between those seeking to overhaul California’s public retirement system and those determined to defend it.
“It’s the one thing every voter will see, and it’s the last thing every voter will see,” said Thomas W. Hiltachk, a lawyer who specializes in California initiatives and has run campaigns in support of Republican ballot measures. “Whether you have a well-funded campaign or an underfunded campaign, those words are critically important.”
Retirement benefits are the fastest-growing expense in many municipal budgets. In Los Angeles and other cities, they account for 20% or more of general fund spending. The burden has pushed some cities to the edge of bankruptcy.
Yet a string of court rulings, known collectively as “the California Rule,” has posed a formidable barrier to change. It prohibits cuts in pension benefits already granted or promised. Under the rule, pensions are considered binding contracts protected by the state Constitution.
For that reason, many of the cost-saving measures passed by the Legislature in recent years, including later retirement ages and smaller monthly pension checks, did not affect employees already on the payroll. They applied only to newly hired workers. As a result, the savings will not kick in for many years.
Pension reform advocates say that achieving real relief in the near term will require reductions in benefits already granted to current employees. Because of the California Rule, that can be done only by amending the Constitution. And that requires a ballot initiative.
A wide majority of California voters surveyed have favored changing the pension system to save money. Support drops sharply when the change is framed as reducing benefits for teachers, police and firefighters.
That’s why the attorney general’s choice of words is so important. By law, the title and summary “shall be true and impartial” and not likely to “create prejudice for or against the proposed measure.”
Disputes over the language have figured prominently in several major reform attempts. The most recent, in 2013-14, was led by then-San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed and former San Diego City Councilman Carl DeMaio.
Reed, a Democrat, and DeMaio, a Republican, proposed a constitutional amendment to alter the California Rule by targeting future benefits of current employees. Workers would keep retirement benefits they had earned, but future benefits would no longer be guaranteed; they would be determined through collective bargaining or public referendum.
A survey conducted for labor groups opposed to the initiative found that majority support for pension reform collapsed if it was described as “eliminating police, firefighters, and other public employees’ vested pension benefits” or “eliminating state constitutional protections.”
The word “eliminate” “fosters a visceral negative response from voters,” according to a memo by the labor coalition’s Washington pollsters.
The Sacramento Bee published an article about the memo in December 2013. Three weeks later, then-Atty. Gen. Kamala Harris issued her summary of the initiative.
It said the Reed-DeMaio measure “eliminates constitutional protections for vested pension and retiree healthcare benefits for current public employees, including teachers, nurses, and peace officers, for future work performed.”
War of words
Consultants for a labor coalition advised emphasizing to voters that the Reed-DeMaio initiative would “eliminate” pension benefits and break promises to workers.
Jan. 6, 2014
Reed and DeMaio cried foul when then-Atty. Gen. Kamala Harris’ official summary of their initiative echoed some of the points highlighted by the labor consultants.
Reed and DeMaio sued the attorney general, accusing her of modeling her ballot language on the labor survey. The suit suggested an alternative summary: “Amends California constitution to allow government employers to negotiate with government employees to modify pension and retiree healthcare benefits for future work performed.”
Reed and DeMaio dropped the initiative in March 2014 after concluding that it was unlikely to win with Harris’ ballot language.
“I personally didn’t think she would be so obviously, egregiously negative,” said Reed, now special counsel at Hopkins & Carley, a Silicon Valley law firm.
Harris had been elected attorney general in 2010 with strong financial support from labor: more than $600,000 in donations to her campaign and to independent expenditure committees, according to the National Institute on Money in State Politics. She raised a total of $7.5 million that year.
Harris received an additional $400,000 from labor for her 2014 reelection effort, and she collected $73,102 from public employee unions in her successful $14-million campaign for the U.S. Senate last year.
Harris did not respond to requests to be interviewed for this article.
Steve Maviglio, a spokesman for Californians for Retirement Security, the labor coalition that opposed the initiative, said the campaign contributions to Harris don’t prove anything. He said the labor survey indicated that the initiative would lose “regardless of how the ballot language is written.”
Maviglio said recent pension initiatives have simply been too extreme for voters to support. “I think that’s just a lame excuse for their political malpractice,” he said.
A former senior advisor to Harris said the attorney general was keenly aware of how the title and summary could affect a ballot measure’s prospects.
Staff attorneys typically drafted multiple versions after consulting both advocates for and opponents of a particular initiative, the former advisor said. Staff lawyers would weigh the pros and cons of each, and Harris would approve the final wording.
Regarding the Reed-DeMaio initiative, the former advisor said the similarity between the attorney general’s summary and the labor memo reflected shared values, not a quid pro quo.
It was the second time Harris approved summary language that proponents of pension reform regarded as unfair.
California Pension Reform, a Republican-led advocacy group, proposed an initiative for the 2012 ballot that would have reduced benefits for both current and newly hired public workers. It called for imposing caps on how much government employers could contribute toward workers’ retirements.
The attorney general’s summary stated that the initiative “eliminates constitutional protections for current and future public employees’ vested pension benefits.”
Harris’ summary of a 2012 initiative infuriated Californians for Pension Reform, which called it “false and misleading.” The group dropped its initiative campaign.
California Pension Reform dropped the initiative, asserting that the “false and misleading title and summary make it nearly impossible to pass.” At the time, Harris’ office rejected the criticism, saying the title and summary accurately described “the initiative’s chief points and purposes.”
Dan Pellissier, president of the advocacy group and a former aide to Assembly Republicans, said there wasn’t enough time to challenge the attorney general in court and still collect enough signatures to meet the ballot deadline. He said the summary was unfair because it stated as fact that pension benefits are constitutionally protected when the issue is in dispute.

One of Harris’ predecessors, Democratic Atty. Gen. Bill Lockyer, was accused of writing politically charged language for a pension measure in 2005. The initiative, proposed by then-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, would have given future state workers 401(k)-style retirement accounts instead of traditional pensions.
Schwarzenegger said in his State of the State Address that year that California’s pension obligations had risen from $160 million in 2000 to $2.6 billion, “threatening our state.”
But the Republican governor abandoned the initiative in April 2005, after Lockyer’s office issued a title and summary that said the measure would eliminate death and disability benefits for future public employees.
Schwarzenegger’s initiative did not mention death benefits. But the governor’s advisors appeared to have overlooked a key detail: death and disability benefits were tied to guaranteed pensions. Newly hired civil servants, who wouldn’t have such pensions, wouldn’t have the associated benefits either, unless they were provided separately.
Opponents of the measure seized on the issue and mobilized widows of slain police officers to speak out against Schwarzenegger’s proposal.
Schwarzenegger said at the time that he would never eliminate police death benefits, and that Lockyer had misinterpreted the initiative.
The governor’s communications director, Rob Stutzman, suggested that the attorney general was trying to curry favor with labor unions to mount a possible bid for governor. Lockyer received more than $1.5 million in campaign contributions from public employee unions during his two terms as attorney general.
Lockyer, now a lawyer with the firm Brown Rudnick in Orange County, said his staff’s analysis of the Schwarzenegger initiative was correct. “They complained about it, but it was a lot of political whining,” he said.
Jon Coupal, president of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Assn. which backed Schwarzenegger’s proposal, disagreed. He said nothing in the initiative would have prevented death and disability benefits from continuing. “They created ambiguity out of whole cloth,” he said.
Reed and other proponents of pension reform plan to put a new measure on the ballot next year. If they do, the title and summary will be written by California’s new attorney general, former U.S. Rep. Xavier Becerra, a Democrat from Los Angeles.
Becerra was nominated to serve the remainder of Harris’ term after she was sworn in as a U.S. senator in January. During his confirmation hearing, Becerra was asked about the attorney general’s obligation to write neutral summaries for ballot measures.
“I understand the importance of a word,” he said, adding: “The words I get to issue on behalf of the people of this state will be the words that are operative for everyone.”
After his confirmation, during his first news conference as attorney general, Becerra addressed the issue again. He said he recognized the need for “fiscally sound” pension policies, but added that his father was a retired union construction worker, with a pension.
“Do I want to see someone like my father be told that he’s not going to get what he bargained for?” he said. “You drive on the roads that my dad built. I think anyone who works hard deserves to get what they bargained for.”

In 1951, the federal government began paying increased attention to emergency planning, both for natural disasters, warfare or even invasion of the United States. This included a plan to provide for short-term emergency funds for critical agencies like the CIA. The proposal was initially tabled until the Agency Emergency Plan was ready.
As the Agency Emergency Plan was developed and the expectations for the scope of emergency expenses increased, the Agency faced another changing factor: the increased likelihood of the use of thermonuclear weapons, which would compound the problems of transportation and communication through the destruction of infrastructure.
At the same time, the Department of Treasury and the Federal Reserve developed plans to supply federal agencies with emergency monetary access. Their plan appeared to come with a downside, however: it wouldn’t come into action until after the “initial shock of the emergency” as opposed to being immediately actionable. It would also rely on being able to access the relatively centralized stockpiles of the Federal Reserve and having Treasury personnel to authorize the transfers.
The Federal Reserve was apparently optimistic, however, that banking business would be able to quickly resume “after the initial crisis.” Part of their efforts to ensure this paralleled the FBI’s efforts to create secondary communications centers.
CIA decided that it would be prudent to not only participate in and take advantage of these programs, but to secure at least a two week supply of cash for emergency expenses.
However, CIA noted that they shouldn’t rely on the Treasury and Federal Reserve programs. Instead, they should be ready to directly finance the necessary operations at CIA Headquarters. This meant that if the Treasury or Federal Reserve were unable to replenish or supplement these cash reserves, CIA wouldn’t be crippled.
According to a memo from the Comptroller, however, similar proposals had been rejected by the bureaucracy twice before. These proposals had even requested smaller amounts of money. Not only that, but these types of proposals were generally opposed by the Treasury Department. However, the Comptroller felt reasonably certain that they would make an exception “since it is CIA.”
A subsequent memo from CIA’s Assistant Deputy Director for Administration sought to dispute some of the Comptroller’s figures. According to the memo, once marked SECRET, CONFIDENTIAL and EYES ONLY, the Assistant Deputy Director (ADD) doubted the Comptroller’s estimate based on a New York Times article. According to the ADD, “The New York Times reports that there were $26,110,089,00 Federal Reserve Notes outstanding … and even $1,000,000 would be a small fraction of that vast sum” and not the 2.5% that the Comptroller had apparently stated. While the ADD’s math is correct, their understanding of financial terms was apparently quite flawed.
As noted elsewhere, the reference to outstanding Federal Reserve Notes meant the amount of currency in circulation, not the amount that was stockpiled in the Federal Reserve. In other words, the ADD confused ‘the amount of money that the Federal Reserve has’ with ‘all of the money that the Federal Reserve doesn’t have.’
For whatever reason, the plan remained unimplemented as late as March 1956.
However, the Comptroller continued to push for the emergency cash supplies over the following months.
By February 1957, CIA’s staff had finally convinced the bureaucracy to approve the plan for emergency cash supplies. While the amount set aside remains redacted, various statements in previous memos indicates that the amount would have been measured by the hundred thousand.

UNITED EXPLAINS SYRIAN FLIGHT PROBLEM WITH OIL ROUTE DIAGRAM:
OH MY – TONE DEAF!!!!
United Struggles to Extinguish Social Media Firestormby
‘The most tone-deaf response I’ve seen,’ professor says
Airline becomes fodder for comedians on late-night TV
Recordings of the incident posted on social media spread quickly around the globe and sent people into a rage. They showed officers pulling a passenger from a flight Sunday evening after he refused to give up his seat and then dragging him down the aisle as travelers yelled at them to stop.
The chilling scene was turning into a public-relations disaster for United, whose fumbling response only served to demonstrate how a normally routine consumer interaction can expand into a brand-damaging event in a world of cellphones and Facebook.
United Chief Executive Officer Oscar Munoz initially apologized for “having to re-accommodate these customers” but in a subsequent message to employees, the CEO called the passenger “disruptive” and “belligerent.”
“It was probably the most tone-deaf response I’ve seen to this type of issue — possibly ever,” Scott Galloway, a professor of marketing at New York University, said on Bloomberg Television. “It’s as if they literally sat around and thought, ‘how could we make a bad situation worse.’”
The stock dropped 2.5 percent to $69.74 at 1:02 p.m. Tuesday in New York, marking the second-biggest decline on a Bloomberg index of U.S. airlines.
United was the butt of jokes by late-night comedians and by Tuesday in China, the incident was even a focus of social media and a government editorial. The hashtag #UnitedForcesPassengerOffPlane was the top trending item on Sina Weibo, the equivalent of Twitter, with more than 270 million views by evening in China. The man who was removed appeared to be of Asian descent.
China’s state mouthpiece the Global Times questioned in an editorial if “the victim’s Chinese ethnicity potentially made a difference” in how the passenger was treated. An online petition called “Chinese Lives Matter” calling for a U.S. investigation into the case has garnered 38,000 signatures.
In an ironic touch, Munoz just last month was named “Communicator of the Year for 2017” by PRWeek. The public-relations industry publication said Munoz “has shown himself to be a smart, dedicated, and excellent leader who understands the value of communications.”
Munoz received support from flight attendants. His letter to United workers Monday night was only meant to boost employee morale in a very trying time, said Sara Nelson, international president of the flight-attendants union for United.
“When something like this happens and people have to go to work and have order in their workplace to keep everyone safe, it can be incredibly demoralizing,” she said. “Some credit needs to be given to him.”
The incident showed how airline bumping can veer into confrontation. Carriers around the world routinely oversell their flights because people don’t always appear for a flight. Overselling is a way to cover that situation while maximizing the airline’s revenue.
The swift social-media condemnation, which extended to Washington, was sparked because the man wasn’t being ejected for misbehavior or a security threat. United said initially that the flight was overbooked, its staff chose him and he didn’t want to get bumped. The airline later said it needed room for its own employees to get to another flight.
Video posted to Facebook and Twitter showed the man being dragged out of his seat and down the aisle of Flight 3411 to Louisville, Kentucky, from Chicago. The man said he was a doctor and had to be in Louisville on Monday for work, according to a Twitter account by a passenger who said he was on the flight.
United required the seats on the Chicago plane to accommodate several crew members who needed to get to Louisville to avoid canceling other flights, spokesman Charles Hobart said. The flight wasn’t oversold, he said.
“It’s not something we want to do, but occasionally, it’s something we have to do,” Hobart said. “This was an instance where, unfortunately, we had to request the assistance of law enforcement because we had to get that aircraft off the ground.”
United’s response didn’t satisfy Senator Robert Menendez, a New Jersey Democrat, who called the incident “disturbing” and Munoz’s statement an “empty apology.” Eleanor Holmes Norton, a nonvoting House Democrat representing the District of Columbia, called for Congressional hearings.
The incident poses an incremental risk of inviting a response from lawmakers, Buckingham analyst Daniel McKenzie wrote in a note to investors.
“It’s a brand damaging event, but it’s unlikely investors will be able to pinpoint the fallout in UAL’s revenue production,” he wrote. Shareholders are more worried about competition and whether the carrier will miss revenue targets this summer as it increases seat availability, McKenzie said.
But NYU’s Galloway said “heads should roll” at United because it will cost the airline both in terms of direct response by passengers and in damage to its image longer term. Potential travelers finding similar fares on United and a competitor may choose the rival because of the video, he said.
“The airline industry is fairly competitive and often times you have more than one option at the same price,” he said. “At a minimum, this is a tie breaker. And in the airline industry, there are a lot of ties presented to consumers.”
The incident came two weeks after United drew social-media scorn for enforcing its dress code for people who fly as nonrevenue passengers, such as employees. A girl flying from Denver was told to change her leggings before boarding. In response, the airline then took efforts to tell “our regular customers” that “leggings are welcome.”
United’s contract of carriage says it chooses passengers to be bumped based on fare class, itinerary, status in its frequent-flyer program, “and the time in which the passenger presents him/herself for check-in without advanced seat assignment.” That means those who pay more for a ticket and those who fly the airline frequently are less likely to be selected for an involuntary bump, criteria that aren’t unique to the Chicago-based carrier.
A volunteer is paid for the seat and booked on another flight. But if there aren’t enough volunteers, an airline resorts to the involuntary method. When it goes wrong, it can get ugly. That’s one reason JetBlue Airways Corp., for example, doesn’t do it.
Last year, the 12 largest U.S. airlines bumped slightly more than 40,600 of 659.7 million passengers, for a rate of 0.62 per 10,000 passengers, down from 0.73 per 10,000 in 2015, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
Riversimple success: Hydrogen carmaker exceeds £1m crowdfunding target
The world’s only independent hydrogen fuel cell vehicle manufacturer, Welsh firm Riversimple, has exceeded its crowdfunding target of £1m which will enable the UK trial of innovative and affordable hydrogen cars.
Riversimple will build 20 hydrogen-powered cars which eliminate the environmental impact of personal transport by emitting just water. The first round of Riversimple’s crowdfunding campaign raised a final figure of £1,138,000 before closing at midnight last night (9 April), the company’s founder Hugo Spowers has confirmed.
“I am delighted that we have not only passed our first tranche target of £1m, but the interest was so keen that we exceeded that figure,” Spowers said. “This is down to a growing demand for low emission personal transport and to the efforts of our team, because the people that work here make this company worth investing in.
“This very definite endorsement demonstrates people’s growing desire to be able to travel in a sustainable way and to start to address the catastrophic effects of pollution and global warming, while losing none of the joy of driving a responsive, beautifully-crafted car.”
Profitability, quality, sustainability
Rasa is the culmination of 15 years of R&D by a team that includes ex-F1 and aerospace engineers and the former FIAT design chief. The two-seater has a range of 300 miles, refills in around three minutes and also generates kinetic energy recaptured from braking. Rasa drives at a top speed of 60mph and has a CO2 efficiency rating of 40g/km.
Riversimple is partnering with Monmouthshire County Council in Wales to run a 12-month trial of the Rasa. Designs for a four-seater car and a light goods vehicle will be further developed once the Rasa is commercially available in 2019.
More than £4m has already been awarded for Rasa in grants from organisations including the Welsh Government & the EU. The model will be available via an affordable, all-inclusive subscription ‘sale of service’ model, like a mobile phone contract, in line with consumer attitude shift to ‘servitisation’.
Spowers added: “We know from feedback from Riversimple investors that they are particularly interested in our subscription model, which aligns profitability, longevity, quality and sustainability. But the secret is also that the Rasa is a desirable car. It’s sporty, incredibly fun to drive, elegantly styled and has turned heads all over the world.”
After spending 20 years being fine-tuned in R&D, hydrogen cars are finally beginning to filter into the market. Fuel cell industry shipments grew by two-thirds in 2016 – compared with 2015 levels – with transport-related fuel-cell capacity doubling to 280MW.
But while hydrogen cars have endorsement at the ready, concerns remain about the lack of availability of refuelling stations. To combat the issue, Riversimple plans to boost hydrogen infrastructure in the UK by developing communities of users around each filling station. Over the next 20 years, Riversimple aims to build a distributed network of manufacturing plants that will regenerate communities and create thousands of jobs.
Oil giant Shell recently launched its first fully-branded hydrogen refuelling station in the UK, with plans already in place to open two more stations in 2017. Shell is a founding member of the Hydrogen Council, which was announced at Davos in January 2017. The Council will pledge $10.7bn towards hydrogen projects over the next five years.
The UK currently has two models available in the forms of the Toyota Mirai and the Hyundai ix35 – the latter of which has been dispelling myths about driving range after shattering records during a demonstration drive in London recently.
As part of a proposed transition to zero-emission road transport, the UK Government has set up a new £23m fund to boost the uptake of hydrogen vehicles and infrastructure.

Kiss of Death and the Google Exec
The mysterious death of a tech executive and his last night with an exotic beauty on his yacht — now a court decides her fate and stunning new details are revealed
Produced by Allen Alter and Patti Aronofsky
[This story previously aired on May 26, 2015. It was updated on July 30, 2016.]
When he’s not out looking for the big wave, there’s a big story that has consumed Stephen Baxter, a reporter for the Santa Cruz Sentinel and a “48 Hours” consultant: the mysterious death of Google executive Forrest Hayes at the city’s sprawling marina.
Forrest Hayes Memorial Site
“Forrest Hayes was … 51 years old. He lived in a pretty upper crust neighborhood,” Baxter told “48 Hours.” “He was a pretty high powered guy and … obviously had a lot of assets; he lives in a $3 million house in Santa Cruz.”
In 2013, one of the boats docked in Santa Cruz Harbor was the majestic 46-foot-long yacht called “Escape.” It belonged to Hayes. Not surprisingly, the tech exec outfitted his boat with some of the most expensive tech gear out there — about $200,000 worth, including a sophisticated security system complete with high-def cameras.
Inside, Hayes spared no expense on creature comforts, including a leather ceiling and a $8,000 captain’s chair.
The Google executive’s death caught the attention of Michael Daly. He’s an investigative reporter for The Daily Beast, in New York, and also a “48 Hours” consultant.
“I think … he was practical and imaginative at the same time,” Daly said. “Forrest Hayes started in his native Michigan … at the Ford Motor Company as a manager, he went to California for Sun Microsystems and he went on to Apple…”
Hayes then went on to Google for a high-paying job at their top-secret location, where impossible dreams are transformed into reality.
“He was hired … to work in Google X, which they call their ‘moonshot factory.’ As in, you know, the most extreme, wildest, imaginative, farthest reaching ideas they could have. You know, like Google glasses, self-driving cars,” Daly explained. “He was the guy who was actually gonna make some of these things happen.”
It’s a place so secretive, colleagues from Google X refused to divulge exactly what Hayes did there. To get away from the pressures at work, Forrest Hayes would head to the marina, and onto his prized possession.
“One of the larger boats in the harbor, I think that’s fair to say,” said Baxter.
What police would eventually discover was that the married father of five had a secret liaison. She was a young and exotic dark haired woman covered with very distinctive tattoos. And she would be the last person to see Forrest Hayes alive.
“On the night of November 22, 2013 … Forrest Hayes was on his yacht … and he didn’t come home that night. And his wife became concerned. She called the captain they retained for this yacht and he went and he got on the boat,” said Daly.
Hayes’ body was found lying in the main cabin. The captain immediately called 911, but surprisingly, it would take months before the Google executive’s death made headlines.
“There was — really no report of his death,” Baxter said. “Obviously, the police in this case were trying to keep that under wraps as they investigated.”
Santa Cruz Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark has been on this case since day one.
“The media’s gonna want to know right off the bat.’Who is it?’ ‘Who’s responsible?’ ‘Is this a homicide?’ ‘Is this a murder?’ We didn’t have enough to really even put that out. We were busy building the case,” Clark told “48 Hours” correspondent Maureen Maher.
Building the case wasn’t easy — despite some initial crime scene clues.
“There were two wine glasses there, both which appeared to have been used,” said Clark
Investigators zeroed in on Hayes’ cell phone, launching an exhaustive digital search. They made a stunning discovery. Hayes had a profile page on a dating website, called SeekingArrangement.com. It would be a critical clue in learning the identity of that mystery tattooed woman.
It was just a few days before Thanksgiving 2013. What happened that night was recorded by the boat’s video cameras. One camera in particular caught the very last moments of Hayes’ life in chilling detail.
“Initially, we were told that the video wasn’t available from that particular camera — that actually showed the cabin of the boat. …there was indeed video that was uploaded to a cloud server. And the video from that camera was indeed available,” Clark explained. “That was one of those moments where you feel like, you know, it was 4th and 1. And you got a first down.
Actually, it took three months and a court order for detectives to get their hands on that video. When they did, it was explosive.
“That video was shocking to me,” said Clark.
“What do you see on this video?” Maher asked.
“Well, the video’s everything. The video is the case,” Clark replied.
Police have yet to release the video, but described in detail to “48 Hours” exactly what they say happened that night between the couple: essentially, it was a party for two — drugs included.
“They greet each other — a quick hug– just a quick embrace. You can see that they’re engaged in conversation. But there’s no audio,” Clark said. “…then, eventually, she — gets to the point where she starts to prepare drugs … for injection. We see her very clearly. She brought all of the equipment with her. She brought the drugs with her.”
As police would learn, the drug of choice that night was heroin.
“We see her prepare the syringe. We see her — it looks like she’s injecting herself, but her back’s to the camera,” Clark explained. “He watches this happen. And then she eventually injects him.”
“Do you feel like, at any point when you’re watching the video, that this is a guy who is afraid and doesn’t want to do this?” Maher asked.
“I get the impression … he’s nervous. He’s uncertain. But he’s going along with it,” said Clark.
“And what happens then?” Maher asked.
“Almost immediately, he starts to go into distress,” Clark explained. “At some point, she comes to him. It looks like she tries to revive him a bit … by patting him on the face and talking to him, holding his head as he slumped forward on the chair.
“And you or I, if we found ourselves in that situation, would’ve been on the phone to 911, sayin’, ‘Oh, my gosh. Something terrible’s happened. We need help.’ And she does none of that,” Clark continued.
Instead, Clark says the video shows the woman trying to remove any evidence that she was ever there — wiping fingerprints and cleaning up her drug paraphernalia.
“While he’s slumped over on the floor?” Maker asked.
“While he’s on the floor,” Clark replied.
“She’s stepping over him?” Maher asked.
“She is literally walking around the cabin of the boat … stepping over him, grabbing her glass of wine, carrying it around the boat cabin with her,” said Clark.
Clark says that portion of the video with Hayes on the floor of the cabin goes on for seven minutes.
“And that’s seven minutes that emergency medical personnel could’ve been there could have done something and could have reacted to this situation to save Mr. Hayes’ life. But instead, she does nothing, nothing to call for help or to fix this. You know, and that’s the crux of the case,” Clark told Maher.

Armed with that video, police hit pay dirt. They were able to match the woman with those distinctive tattoos to a profile on the dating website Hayes had used. She was a 26-year-old aspiring model. Her name? Alix Tichelman.
WEB OF SECRETS
The wealthy Google executive found the exotic model in a somewhat secret world, where real names are rarely used.
Technically, Alix Tichelman and Forrest Hayes met in Las Vegas — not at an upscale casino or one of the fancy hotel lobby bars — but through an online website which is headquartered just a stone’s throw from the strip. But as “48 Hours” discovered, it’s not your typical dating website.
“What year did you start SeekingArrangement?” Maher asked the site’s CEO, Brandon Wade.
“It was started in 2006 from a bedroom in San Francisco, actually,” he replied.
It may have the look and feel of a start-up, but with nearly four million members worldwide, this is big business.
“SeekingArrangement.com is — a Sugar Daddy dating website, so we match wealthy guys and girls looking to pamper and spoil. And, of course, younger men and women looking to meet those wealthy people,” Wade explained.
Wade, a boyish 43-year old, says he’s become a multi-millionaire from all the “arranging” he’s been doing.
“Is SeekingArrangement about arranging sexual relationships for money?” Maher asked.
“It is about finding romance and passion,” Wade replied. “I’m unapologetic about the fact that sex is involved in a romantic relationship. And money is involved in a romantic relationship. But that doesn’t make the romantic relationship prostitution.”
Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark, the point man in the Hayes death case, strongly disagrees.
“It doesn’t take a Sherlock Holmes to take a look at that website and figure out exactly what was going on there,” he told Maher. “The titles of the individuals are Sugar Babies and Sugar Daddies. You know, that’s — there’s no innocent connotation there behind any of that.”
“What is ‘Budget’? That’s what he’s willing to spend?” Maher asked Wade as they looked at the website.
“That’s his sort of lifestyle. So it could be going out for dinners, paying for that. Going on trips,” he explained.
“OK. So does a woman think you’re gonna spend $3,000 on me? A Sugar Baby thinks, ‘You’re gonna spend — $3,000 on me,'” Maher asked.
“Yeah, on the relationship,” Wade replied.
Wade is proud that his membership ranks include employees of leading Fortune 500 companies, including, he says, from Google.
“Is Forrest Hayes a typical client?” Maher asked Wade.
“I would say — he is– an average client of ours,” he replied.
“Married tech executive looking for some sort of arrangement,” Maher commented.
“Yep. Forty percent of the guys are married,” said Wade.
It’s unknown if Hayes was fulfilling the “expectations” of any Sugar Babies’ lifestyle requests, which range from a $1,000 to over $10,000 in monthly Sugar Daddy “gifts.”
“Can you tell us anything about Alix Tichelman’s profile on SeekingArrangement?” Maher asked Wade.
“Well, the only thing I can say is that it looked like any other normal profile, so it was approved. And — there was no indication that she was soliciting money for sex. At least not with that profile,” he replied.
After Hayes’death, investigators began tracking Alix Tichelman on social media. Fearing she might leave town, they hatched a plan to catch her using SeekingArrangement.com.
“When she posted on Facebook something to the effect of — I plan to go back to Georgia — that’s when they decided to really go in and pursue her on the same website, just the way Forrest had, and pose as a john and lure her back to Santa Cruz,” reporter Stephen Baxter explained.
“We started seeing chatter from her that indicated she was either gonna move out of the country or out of the state,” said Clark.
“There’s now a clock on this ’cause she’s about to head South,” reporter Michael Daly explained. “So, they do kind of a classic sting.”
“We sold out our detective and made him set up a profile — under a different identity and made up a whole story about him. We then posted that out there and we reached out to Alix Tichelman through SeekingArrangements,” said Clark.
Code-named “Sebastian,” that detective began emailing and texting with Tichelman, hoping for a rendezvous.
“Eventually, we convinced her to come down and meet with us for an agreed-upon … arrangement for sex, for prostitution, and for a sum of money,” said Clark.
“Police said … they deposited some money — several hundred dollars into her bank account with a promise of … at least $1,000 upon arrival and everything else,” Baxter explained.
“This did not appear to you that this was the first time she had negotiated such a situation?” Maher asked Clark.
“No. In fact … she kinda called us out, called us a cheapskate. Told us that, you know, many of her clients pay twice that,” he replied.
Eight months after the death of Forrest Hayes, Alix Tichelman once again showed up in Santa Cruz County, this time at a secluded resort. Once again, she came with heroin in her bag expecting to hook up with the Sugar Daddy from SeekingArrangement. And once again, it did not go as planned.
“When you said, ‘We’re the cops. And we’re the ones you’ve been communicating with,’ what was her reaction?” Maher asked Clark.
“Oh, she — she cried,” he replied. “…that’s when we saw panic.”

Alix Tichelman, 26, was stunned. Police arrested her for prostitution and charged her in the death of Forrest Hayes.
“…this was a crime. This wasn’t just some accident gone awry,” Clark said.
Or was it? What happened that night, says Tichelman’s defenders, is a lot more complicated.
WHO IS ALIX TICHELMAN?
Perhaps no one was more surprised by the arrest of AlixTichelman than Chad Cornell. The construction worker with a passion for writing and playing music was in love with her.
“For me, I mean, she was somebody completely different,” Cornell told Maureen Maher. “When I first saw her, I couldn’t help but to say something … She has a very darker style. And I always thought she was really beautiful. And almost like, you know, the Angelina Jolie kinda look.”
Alix Tichelman and Chad Cornell
Cornell had no idea how dark her life really was.
“Did you believe she was falling in love with you?” Maher asked Cornell.
“I did,” he replied.
Cornell thought his girlfriend was a model — there were countless images, a swimsuit commercial, and a makeup tutorial she did online.
And as far as he could tell, she was always answering modeling calls.
“She’d get all dolled up and go to a photo shoot,” Cornell said. “…she’d usually make about $1,000 or so when she’d go out to these modeling shoots.”
So imagine how he felt to learn months later that his beloved girlfriend was now being accused of doing something altogether different for all that money.
“I got a text with the news link on it … and kind just fell over on the couch in shock,” Cornell said.
The woman he once thought he’d spend the rest of his life with was now not only charged with prostitution — but also in the death of Google executive Forrest Hayes.
“What are you thinking? This is a woman you were in love with,” Maher commented.
“Yeah, I mean obviously, I was devastated you know. I turned white,” said Cornell.
As the news sank in, to his complete amazement, Cornell realized that just hours before Alix Tichelman met up with Forrest Hayes on that fateful night, she was with him.
“We were hanging out that day actually. She told me that some of her long-time high school friends were in Santa Cruz, and had a boat and she had planned to go hang out with them,” he explained. “Later that night, she actually woke me outta bed with a phone call. She’s you know really frantic on the phone. She sounded very upset.”
“What was she talking about?” Maher asked.
“She talked about how her friends had started doing heroin and a bunch of hardcore drugs on the boat and made her uncomfortable. And that she had to leave,” Cornell replied.
“But you believed on that call that she sounded genuinely upset?” Maher asked.
“Crying, sniffling. I mean upset upset,” said Cornell.
Because the truth, he now knows, was much worse. And it’s left him wondering whether he ever really knew who Alix was.
“Who is Alix Tichelman, right? Who is she?” said reporter Michael Daly.
Daly did what police investigators did, and using the tools of Hayes’ employer, he ‘Googled’ her.
“This, the police discovered, was Alix Tichelman’s Twitter account,” he explained, navigating through the profile AKKennedyxx.
“One x short of triple x,” Daly said of her Twitter handle. ‘Baddest bitch, model, stylist, hustler, exotic dancer.’ Those are her words. These are the pictures to go with the words.”
“This has the charming inscription, ‘To death do us part,” Daly said of a photo Tichelman showing off a tattoo on her arm that was posted to the account. “You might start believing less in coincidence on seeing that.”
But to Daly, Tichelman’s postings looked more like someone trying to create an image rather than someone obsessed with killing. That’s because he came across this post:
“My beautiful mother and I out for lunch. *no makeup face*”
“I mean this is a young woman who wants to be with mom,” Daly commented of the tweet, which included a photo of Tichelman and her mother smiling.
Tichelman posted it just months before her arrest for Forrest’s death
“It makes you think there’s a fuller story,” said Daly.
So how did it come to this? Childhood pictures show a cute blonde tomboy who appeared to have all the advantages in life growing up with her sister, Monica, who would become an investment counselor, her mother, Leslie Ann, and her father, Bart, a CEO for a technology company and a pretty good poker player.
“And he at one point found himself playing with some of the best poker players in the world and he won like $400,000,” said Daly.
Alix Tichelman spent her early teens in an Atlanta suburb where she played sports and won writing awards.
“Her friends say that she’s very smart, very deep,” said Daly.
But also very troubled.
“Her experiences with boys were not always happy ones,” Daly explained. “She had eating disorders … she was taking drugs.”
Desperate, her parents went looking for help and located a school that they thought would give her special attention.
“So they found this place called the Hyde School in Maine,” Daly continued.
Megan was also a student at the Hyde School, where Tichelman spent a few months.
“I can feel, like, pressure in my chest. It’s nerve-wracking,” she said driving to the school.
Megan asked “48 Hours” not to use her last name, but agreed to travel back to the Hyde School campus.
“I want people to see this very pivotal part of her life, that I feel, probably affected her at a very … huge point in her development … and why she is who she is,” she said.
“Do you remember when you first met Alix, do you happen to remember the very first time you saw her?” Maher asked.
“One-hundred percent,” Megan said. “She was gorgeous and she was very awkward.”
The cute blonde girl next door was long gone.
“She barely ate. She was very skinny. She was rail-thin,” Megan said. “She was emotionally kind of closed off.”
“I think the big question then is why? What had happened to her?” Maher asked.
“I don’t know the truth to that. She never told me there was a specific catalyst,” Megan replied.
But Megan says Alix Tichelman did hint at some traumatic events.
“We talked about … the fact that we had issues trusting men,” she said. “We had become numb to a lot of things.”
Tichelman had started cutting herself. A photo of Alix in her then-bunkmate’s scrapbook reads “psycho roomie” and “look at the cuts on her arm.”
“Alix Tichelman was actually the first person that I met who did that,” said Ashley Kent, who lived in Tichelman’s dorm. “She came to the school with the scars. She had already etched things into her arm, and she had already made this … image of herself as this like devil person … that’s how she dressed, kind of like a devil worshipper.”
But was that really who Alix was?
“She was actually a really nice girl. It was very much like a front that she putting on, an image,” said Kent.
Megan noticed it, too.
“Once you bypass those walls, she was just a normal girl who was scared,” she noted.
“And what was she scared of?” Maher asked.
“I think herself, honestly. I mean we didn’t know who we were. We had resorted to things that not every person chooses. We had been in trouble.
And at Hyde, it seemed like Tichelman was always in trouble. Megan says they punished her.
“You’re forced to do manual labor, physical labor. They basically tell you what you can and can’t do,” Megan explained.
Megan says she and Alix were forced to build a road.
“We hoed it, each person, and we weeded it. And then they made us cart like wheelbarrows — like huge wheelbarrows full of rocks up and spread ’em, so we basically built a dirt road on campus,” she said.
Ashley Kent remembers one night waking up to Alix screaming. What happened sounds like a scene out of a Stephen King movie.
“She like kinda walked down the halls and like was cutting herself really late at night,” she said.
“She began just to hurt herself because she felt that’s what she deserved,” said Megan.
When it didn’t work out at Hyde, Tichelman’s parents tried other schools. But the worse was still to come.
“Well, she talked about taking heroin when she was in her teens,” said Daly.
And by her early 20s, Tichelman was living in San Francisco, working strip clubs like Larry Flint’s Hustler, and then a place called the Condor. Eventually, she found her way back home to Atlanta, where her life would take a dramatic turn.
“This kinda great thing happens. She meets a guy named Dean,” said Daly.
Alix Tichelman and Dean Riopelle
Dean Riopelle was much older but so in love with Alix Tichelman he wanted to marry her.
“So maybe there’s gonna be a happy ending anyway,” Daly commented.
Then, in September of 2013, two months before Forrest Hayes died, Tichelman’s fiancé, Dean Riopelle, died with heroin in his system:
911 Call: Um, I don’t know I think my boyfriend overdosed or something like he … he won’t respond, and he’s just laying on the ground. Oh no.
Was it an unfortunate coincidence? Or something more sinister?
ANOTHER HEROIN DEATH
The Masquerade — it’s one of the hottest concert venues in Atlanta, Georgia, and it all belonged to 53-year-old Dean Riopelle, a former cross dressing singer for the rock band the “Impotent Sea Snakes.”
In September of 2013, Riopelle died of a heroin overdose. His girlfriend at the time: Alix Tichelman.
Tichelman called 911 after she says she discovered Riopelle unconscious in his North Atlanta home. That was just two months before she was with Google exec Forrest Hayes when he died.
“We were surprised the similarities in their case to our case,” said Santa Cruz Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark.
Based on Tichelman’s arrest in Santa Cruz for the death of Forrest Hayes, police in Milton, Georgia, are now taking a second look at Riopelle’s death. What was first ruled an accidental overdose might very well become a criminal matter.
One person who believes Tichelman should be held responsible for Riopelle’s death is his former employee, Khristina Brucker.
“I think she had something to do with his death, I really do,” said Brucker.
For a few months in 2012, Brucker, an aspiring model, lived in Riopelle’s house, taking care of his children from his previous marriage and his pet hobby: raising dozens of monkeys.
“He said he had a dream about monkeys one day and he just started collecting them. He had the money. So why not?” Brucker told Maureen Maher.
Riopelle told an Atlanta TV station he had hopes of turning his property into a zoo.
“Anybody would spend 20 minutes or an hour with one would see they have a little bit more personality than most other animals,” he said.
But Brucker says his real passion was the woman also featured in that news story, Riopelle’s live-in girlfriend, Alix Tichelman.
“Oh, he loved her. He absolutely loved her. He wanted to marry her and she wanted to marry him, too,” said Brucker.
Dean Riopelle loved everything about Alix Tichelman — except the drugs. By the time Tichelman hooked up with Riopelle, she was a full blown heroin addict. Brucker says Riopelle didn’t share Tichelman’s bad habits.
“Did you ever see him drink?” Maher asked.
“Never,” Brucker replied.
“Do drugs?” Maher pressed.
“Not once,” said Brucker.
Brucker stopped working for Riopelle almost a year before he died. Still, she’s sure he would never inject himself with heroin. But she wonders if Alix Tichelman might have.
“Do you think that’s what happened?” Maher asked Brucker.
“I think it’s possible, especially with the case in Santa Cruz where she actually did that,” she replied.
“The idea that she’s going around randomly sticking people with heroin needles is preposterous. These are grown men. They know exactly what they’re doing,” said Todd, an Atlanta businessman.
Todd asked “48 Hours” not to use his last name, but says, as a close friend of Alix Tichelman, he could no longer keep quiet about what he knows about the couple.
“She was devastated after Dean passed away,” he said.
Todd says, not only did Riopelle drink — he drank a lot.
“But she loved him and he loved her. If he were alive today, he would be the first one to bail her out of jail,” he said. “And he would be absolutely mortified at how the people around him … have treated her.”
And Todd says Riopelle was determined to get Tichelman off heroin. He sent her to rehab and even bought her an engagement ring. He texted Todd.
“This is August 30th of 2013 … he was getting Alix a wedding ring. They were going to get married,” Todd said of the text.
That’s just three weeks before Dean Riopelle would overdose.
“She gets her ring, she picked it out today. We drug test every week. If she can stay clean for 14 months we will get married Halloween night 2014…” Todd said, reading aloud one of the text messages that have never been made public. He showed them exclusively to “48 Hours.”
“Alix says this is the first time in 10 years she has gotten out of detox or rehab and lasted a whole week before shooting up again,” Todd said, reading another text.
But Tichelman didn’t stay clean for long. On Sept. 7, 2013, just 10 days before his fatal overdose, Dean Riopelle made a shocking discovery: Alix was online, advertising herself to men.
“She hated that she was compelled to do it because she had this addiction,” Todd said. “There were guys who wanted to rent her penthouse apartments … men with a lot of power and a lot of status. …But she wasn’t interested in anything except getting the money to support her habit. She loved Dean, she wanted to be with Dean, but she had this deep dark secret.”
And, Todd says, when Riopelle found out, he flipped out.
“He said, ‘Can I move all of the prostitute’s s— into your place tomorrow … She is better over there and I would like to bring her stuff to you today so I don’t have to see the whore again,'” Todd said, reading Riopelle’s text.
But Riopelle didn’t kick Tichelman out. Instead, Todd says, he hit the bottle — hard.
“Once he discovered the ad things began to fall apart. Dean desperately loved her. Dean wanted to keep her. But he couldn’t figure out how to reconcile all of this,” said Todd.
So, Todd believes, Riopelle tried something new.
Tichelman would later tell police she was in the bathroom when she heard what sounded like a crash. She went to the bedroom and found Riopelle on the floor.
An autopsy would show he had a fatal mix of heroin, pain killers and alcohol in his system.
“I’m convinced that what happened was Dean was trying to reach a connection with Alix on a deeper level. And he thought that if they could share this thing, this thing she was so attached to, that she couldn’t let go of no matter what, that they could actually be together. And that’s what he wanted more than anything in life,” said Todd.
Following Riopelle’s death, Tichelman sent text messages to Todd: “Gd why did dean have to die?”
In the texts she writes that her mother is coming and will move her to California to the family’s new home two hours outside San Francisco. But Tichelman is trying to detox and tells Todd she is worried:
“I know that city well, like the Tenderloin where I used to live is the third biggest open drug market in the U.S. It takes two minutes to score and you don’t have to know anyone. You can see why I’m worried,” Todd said, reading the text aloud.
Around Oct. 30, 2013, Alix Tichelman arrived in California. She immediately went back online and started advertising herself. Texting Todd: “Guys out here got mad money.”
And within days she had a prospect. She was about to come into serious cash.
“This is on the second of November and she says an ‘amazing guy’ found her…’He is the real deal.’ Tomorrow she’s going on his boat and for a few hours he’s giving her $400 to $500 cash. Then a check for $2,000,” Todd said of another text. “Now, I’m relatively certain that the guy on the boat she’s referring to was Forrest.”
Three weeks later, on Nov. 22, Alix Tichelman was definitely with Forrest Hayes on his boat, where Todd believes she was simply making money to feed her addiction.
“Tell me one thing that happened on that yacht that was not absolutely consensual between two adults,” Todd said. “Nothing.”
On May 19, 2015, Alix Tichelman is back in court to have a date set for her trial.
She’s been in jail for almost a year – her past modeling life a distant memory. Tichelman faces almost 20 years behind bars, charged in the killing of Forrest Hayes, along with drug possession and prostitution.
Her public defenders, Jerry Christensen and Larry Biggam, have insisted she is not a cold-blooded killer.
“Alix Tichelman did nothing that Mr. Hayes didn’t want her to do. Two adults engaged in mutual and cooperative drug usage. And it went wrong. But it was an accident,” Biggam told reporters.
Defense lawyers say Hayes was an eager participant that night, even using his own cell phone light to show Tichelman where to inject him. And they are adamant she then simply panicked.
“This video will show that it’s an accident. Everything about this video indicates accident and panic, everything about it,” Christensen told reporters.
For months they’ve investigated Forrest Hayes’ past, asking prosecutors to hand over video from the “Escape’s” cameras as far back as six months before he died.
“We have some indications from other material that there may have been previous encounters on the boat. It would be highly relevant in regard to whether or not there is– drug usage along with sex,” Christensen told reporters.
But at the hearing comes a bombshell. With her parents watching, Alix Tichelman pleads guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
Judge: Do you understand that when you plead no contest or guilty you’re getting two felonies and five misdemeanors?
Alix Tichelman: Yes
Alix Tichelman in court on May 19, 2015.
And through her lawyer, she apologizes to the Hayes family: “It was accident and panic and she’s so, so sorry for it.”
Tichelman was sentenced to six years in a local jail, but with credit for her time served and a reduction by the judge, she’ll likely serve just a little over two years.
After the hearing, there was another stunning development. Prosecutor Rafael Vasquez says the family of Forrest Hayes told him they never wanted Alix Tichelman charged.
“The family did not want this case to be filed, they would have been very happy if this case had been dismissed,” Vasquez explained. “They were terrified about the prospect of this case going to trial.”
The family, he said, did not want that video from Hayes’ boat to ever be made public.
“I can only imagine what further pain, what further humiliation they would endure if that video was released out into the public,” said Vasquez.
What’s more, he says Alix was never a cold-blooded killer, as described by law enforcement.
“That was never depicted in that surveillance video,” said Vasquez.
In fact, the prosecutor agrees with the defense attorneys that Alix was anything but callous when Forrest collapsed.
“And the fact that she made some effort to wake him up, hit him in the chest, smack him in the face, holding him up trying to lift him up, then holding him, hugging him at one point, and then you can see her crying in one instance, and then yelling for him to wake up in one instance — that clearly showed somebody who appeared concerned at that time. And that is certainly inconsistent with somebody who acted with an obvious intent to kill,” he explained.
But, the prosecutor says, what she is guilty of is not doing enough.
“She was the only one who could have rendered help and she neglected to do so, she failed to do so and instead took liberties to destroy evidence and to make her getaway while leaving the man there to die,” said Vasquez.
In the end, one of Tichelman’s attorneys, Athena Reis, says her time in jail has been helping turn Alix’s life around.
“You know, she’s clean and sober. She’s closer with her family than ever, and I think she’s really used this time to reflect,” said Reis.
But for Forrest Hayes’ family , there is no turning around. And they’ll try to put the scars of his actions behind them.
“From this point on, the family no longer has to worry about the concern associated with all the scrutiny, all the ridicule and all the scorn generated by all the media attention in this case,” Vasquez said. “This family has been through a lot.”
Alix Tichelman is scheduled to be released from jail in June 2017. She will be 29 years old
The Dean Riopelle case is still open and under investigation.

Hacker Group Releases Password To NSA’s “Top Secret Arsenal” In Protest Of Trump Betrayal
Silicon Valley’s Kleiner Perkins Has Each Individual Investor Hacked from 2006 to today?
Last August, the intel world was abuzz following the news that a previously unknown hacker collective, “The Shadow Brokers” had hacked and released legitimate hacking tools from the NSA’s own special-ops entity, the “Equation Group”, with initial speculation emerging that the Russians may have penetrated the US spy agency as suggested by none other than Edward Snowden. The Shadow Brokers released a bunch of the organization’s hacking tools, and were asking for 1 million bitcoin (around $568 million at the time) to release more files, however failed to find a buyer.
Attention then shifted from Russians after some speculated that the agency itself may be housing another “mole” insider. At the time, a former NSA source told Motherboard, that “it’s plausible” that the leakers are actually a disgruntled insider, claiming that it’s easier to walk out of the NSA with a USB drive or a CD than hack its servers.” As famed NSA whistleblower William Binney – who exposed the NSA’s pervasive surveillance of Americans long before Snowden confirmed it – said, “My colleagues and I are fairly certain that this was no hack, or group for that matter, This ‘Shadow Brokers’ character is one guy, an insider employee.”
In a subsequent Reuters op-ed by cybersecurity expert James Bamford, author of The Shadow Factory: The Ultra-Secret NSA From 9/11 to the Eavesdropping on America, and columnist for Foreign Policy magazine, he said that seemed as the most probable explanation, and that Russia had nothing to do with this latest – and most provocative yet – hack.
Since then, the Shadow Broker group, whose origin and identity still remains a mystery, disappeared from the radar only to emerge today, when in an article posted on Medium, the group wrote an op-ed, much of it in broken English, in which it slammed Donald Trump’s betrayal of his core “base”, and the recent attack on Syria, urging Trump to revert to his original promises and not be swept away by globalist and MIC interests, but far more imporantly, released the password which grants access to what Edward Snowden moments ago called the NSA’s “Top Secret arsenal of digital weapons.”
The article begins with the group explaining why it is displeased with Trump.
Don’t Forget Your Base
Respectfully, what the fuck are you doing? TheShadowBrokers voted for you. TheShadowBrokers supports you. TheShadowBrokers is losing faith in you. Mr. Trump helping theshadowbrokers, helping you. Is appearing you are abandoning “your base”, “the movement”, and the peoples who getting you elected.
#1—Goldman Sach (TheGlobalists) and Military Industrial Intelligence Complex (MIIC) cabinet
#2—Backtracked on Obamacare
#3—Attacked the Freedom Causcus (TheMovement)
#4—Removed Bannon from the NSC
#5—Increased U.S. involvement in a foreign war (Syria Strike)
The peoples whose voted for you, voted against the Republican Party, the party that tried to destroying your character in the primaries. The peoples who voted for you, voted against the Democrat Party, the party that hates, mocks, and laughs at you. Without the support of the peoples who voted for you, what do you think will be happening to your Presidency? Without the support of the people who voted for you, do you think you’ll be still making America great again? Do you be remembering when you were sitting there at the Obama Press Party and they were all laughing at you? Do you be remembering when you touring the country and all those peoples believed in you and supported you? You were those peoples hope. How do you be thinking it will be feeling when those people turn on you? Will they be laughing at you, hating you, and mocking you too?
TheShadowBrokers doesn’t want this to be happening to you, Mr. Trump. TheShadowBrokers is wanting to see you succeed.
The hackers then ask Trump whose war is he fighting:
If you made deal(s) be telling the peoples about them, peoples is appreciating transparency. But what kind of deal can be resulting in chemical weapons used in Syria, Mr. Bannon’s removal from the NSC, US military strike on Syria, and successful vote for SCOTUS without change rules? Mr. Trump whose war are you fighting? Israeli Nationalists’ (Zionist) and Goldman Sachs’ war? Chinese Globalists’ and Goldman Sachs war? Is not looking like you fighting the domestic wars, the movement elected you to be fighting. You not being in office three months and already you looking like the MIIC’s bitch with John McCain and Chuck Schumer double dutch ruddering each other in the corner over dead corpses.
The post continues by exposing what the ShadowBrokers believe is the general mindset of Trump’s support base:
- Don’t care what is written in the NYT, Washington Post, or any newspaper, so just ignore it.
- Don’t care if you swapped wives with Mr Putin, double down on it, “Putin is not just my firend he is my BFF”.
- Don’t care if the election was hacked or rigged, celebrate it “so what if I did, what are you going to do about it”.
- Don’t care if your popular or nice, get er done, Obama’s fail, thinking he could create compromise. No compromise.
- Don’t want foreign wars, Do want domestic wars, “drain the swamp”, “destroy the nanny state”
- Don’t care about your faith, you sound like a smuck when you try to say god things
- DO support the ideologies and policies of Steve Bannon, Anti-Globalism, Anti-Socialism, Nationalism, Isolationism
In the article, the ShadowBrokers also touch upon what until recently was the primary topic of the daily news cycle, namely the whether Russia is behind this (and any other black hat intel hacking operation):
For peoples still being confused about TheShadowBrokers and Russia. If theshadowbrokers being Russian don’t you think we’d be in all those U.S. government reports on Russian hacking? TheShadowBrokers isn’t not fans of Russia or Putin but “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” We recognize Americans’ having more in common with Russians than Chinese or Globalist or Socialist. Russia and Putin are nationalist and enemies of the Globalist, examples: NATO encroachment and Ukraine conflict. Therefore Russia and Putin are being best allies until the common enemies are defeated and America is great again.
The report than goes on to suggest that the hacking group is in fact comprised mostly of former US spies: “President Trump, theshadowbrokers is offering our services to you and your administration. Did you know most of theshadowbrokers’ members have taken the oath “…to protect and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic…”. Yes sir! Most of us used to be TheDeepState everyone is talking about.”
Then something changed, and the collective notes that “TheDeepState is being the enemy of the constitution, individualism, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. With the right funding we can recruit some of the best hacker intel peoples in United States and world. “Unmasking” is being new buzz word, so we use. TheShadowBrokers is being happy to unmask anyone we considering to be an enemy of the Constitution of the United States.”
Enemies like John McCain. Something doesn’t rub theshadowbrokers rite about Vietnam War POW who at every opportunity seeks to do violence to others via the proxy of young service men and women. If anyone should be being pacifist, slow to pick fight it should be being former POW. TheShadowBrokers is sure if we “unmasking”, Senator McCain, Magog itself might come out, many defense contractors, Saudi Princes, and possibly little Vietnamese boy he shares with Senator Lindsey Graham, not cool! Mr. Trump we know you are having DOJ and FBI, so why you be needing theShadowBrokers? You don’t, but theshadowbrokers is confused. Why haven’t you served search warrant to NYT, Washington Post, Goldman Sacks, Jeff Bezos, and all other Globalist for investigation and prosecution of treason, sedition, and un-American activities during a time of war? The
It was the conclusion to the post, however, that was most interesting – in it the Shadow Brokers urges Trump to be the “real deal” and has released the password to the NSA hacking tool binaries that made so much news last summer:
Mr. President Trump theshadowbrokers sincerely is hoping you are being the real deal and that you received this as constructive criticism toward #MAGA. Some American’s consider or maybe considering TheShadowBrokers traitors. We disagreeing. We view this as keeping our oath to protect and defend against enemies foreign and domestic. TheShadowBrokers wishes we could be doing more, but revolutions/civil wars taking money, time, and people. TheShadowBrokers has is having little of each as our auction was an apparent failure. Be considering this our form of protest. The password for the EQGRP-Auction-Files is CrDj”(;Va.*NdlnzB9M?@K2)#>deB7mN

Other hackers organizations confirm, the key released by the ShadowBrokers has been verified:

Inside the NSA dump among many other findings, we find hundreds of NSA attacks on China, as well as penetration attempts in which the NSA “pretends” to be China so one wonders how difficult it would be for the NSA to pretend they are, oh, say Russia?
Additionally, today’s revelation exposes hacking attacks on EU states, as well as Latin America, Russia, China, Japan and South East Asia. Among the contents one also finds the hacking configuration for China Mobile, the world’s largest mobile telecom company by number of subscribers (just under 900 million) and market cap.
Another example shows the NSA’s EquationGroup tool (ELECTRICSLIDE) impersonating a Chinese browser with fake Accept-Language.

We are in the process of further exploring the disclosed data, and will present any notable revelations in due course, however we find it quite interesting that now that the “rogue” element in the intel community appears to have given up on Trump, they are bypassing the president and taking their war with the “deep state” directly to the people.
Finally, a rhetorical question from Julian Assange on today’s revelations:
If #ShadowBrokers are intelligence then NSA lost a calamitous amount of cyber weapons to Russia or China et al before election. Did Obama:

Tiffany Shlain (born April 8, 1970) is an American filmmaker, author, and public speaker. Regarded by her press releases as an internet pioneer, Shlain is the founder of the Webby Awards . She has dated quite a few of the Silicon Valley tech people and they have all come together in a unique site called “About Tiffany“. Tiffany can be found on a poster about herself on the back end of San Francisco MUNI buses. She is the co-founder of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.
Early life and education
Shlain was raised in Mill Valley, California, the daughter of Leonard Shlain, a surgeon, author, and inventor, and Carol Lewis Jaffe, a psychologist. In high school, intrigued by technology and communications, Shlain wrote a proposal called Uniting Nations in Telecommunications & Software (UNITAS), which envisioned students in enemy countries communicating over personal computers and via modems. From this proposal, she was invited to be a student ambassador through the People to People program, and traveled to the Soviet Union in 1988.
While a student at UC Berkeley, Shlain produced and directed Hunter & Pandora, an experimental film which won the university’s Eisner Award, the highest award in art. In 1992, she earned a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, and was selected as a valedictory speaker for her graduating class.
Shlain additionally studied organizational change at the Harvard Business School Executive Education program and film production at New York University’s Sight & Sound program. She was a 2006-2007 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute.
In 1996, Shlain founded the Webby Awards, an annual event which the New York Times described as the “Oscars of the Web.” In 1998, she co-founded The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences. The Webbys had hosts that included Alan Cumming, and appearances by Al Gore, Prince, and Thomas Friedman. Shlain appeared on Good Morning America as the program’s on-air internet expert from 2000 – 2003.
In 2002, Shlain combined her background in technology and the web with her earlier work as a filmmaker, and directed, produced and co-wrote Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, a documentary about reproductive rights in America. The film premiered at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival and was used nationally by Planned Parenthood to mark the 30 year anniversary of Roe v. Wade.
In 2005, Shlain decided to pursue filmmaking full-time; she subsequently sold the Webby Awards and founded the San Francisco film studio, the Moxie Institute. Shlain’s next documentary, The Tribe, co-written with her husband, Ken Goldberg, explored American Jewish identity through the history of the Barbie Doll. The Tribe, which also premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, was the first documentary short to become #1 on iTunes.
In 2011, her first feature documentary, Connected: An Autoblogography About Love, Death & Technology, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Examining personal connections in relation to global conditions – and the potential of what can happen with so many people online — the film ran in theaters and on television, and was subsequently released on digital platforms. The winner of a Tribeca Film Festival’s Disruptive Innovation Award, in addition to other significant awards, Connected was selected by the United States Department of State and the University of Southern California for the 2012 American Filmmaker Showcase. In 2013, the Margaret Herrick Library at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences acquired the film’s script for their permanent collection.
In 2011, she introduced the concept of “Cloud Filmmaking” with a series of shorts produced through cloud-based collaborative filmmaking. The first film in the series, A Declaration of Interdependence, was released Sept 2011; the second film, Engage, debuted in early 2012. Later that same year, both a 10-minute film and a best-selling TED Book, called Brain Power: From Neurons to Networks were released. Exploring new research on how to best grow children’s brains and the global brain of the internet, Brain Power premiered in November 2012 at The California Academy of Sciences. It was selected by the US State Department as a part of the 2013 American Film Showcase and was screened at embassies in the Middle East in November 2013. Shlain discussed cloud filmmaking as the keynote speaker at the Tribeca Film Festival’s 2013 Interactive Day where she delivered her “Cloud Filmmaking Manifesto.”
In 2013, Shlain co-founded the nonprofit Let it Ripple: Mobile Films for Global Change, and continued making cloud films. The next film in the series was The Science of Character. To premiere the film, Shlain and her co-workers founded Character Day, where schools and organizations around the world would all premiere the film and discuss ideas around character development on the same day in a simultaneous online video conversation. There were over 1500 events in 31 countries. For the second annual Character Day, they premiered The Adaptable Mind, which explores skills needed in the 21st century, and The Making of a Mensch, about the science of character through the Jewish teachings of Mussar, interpreted through a modern-day lens. This second annual Character Day had over 6700 events in 41 countries. The US State Department selected The Adaptable Mind to be part of their 2016-2017 American Film Showcase. Character Day 2016 already has 10,000 events planned and is set for Sept 22nd.
Shlain created two seasons of the AOL original series The Future Starts Here, which includes episodes entitled Technology Shabbats, Motherhood Remix, 10 Stages of The Creative Process, The Future of Our Species, Why We Love Robots, and A Case for Optimism. The series, which began airing on AOL in 2013 was nominated for an Emmy Award in the News and Documentary category in 2014, and has since been viewed more than 40 million times.
Shlain lectures globally on filmmaking, the Internet’s influence on society, and the future, and has spoken at TEDWomen and TEDMED. She delivered the keynote address for UC Berkeley’s commencement ceremony in May 2010; the speech was included on NPR’s list of “The Best Commencement Speeches, Ever.”
Shlain will be directing a film on women and power that will be released through Refinery29’s “Shatterbox Anthology” featuring women film directors.
Philanthropy and activism
Shlain has served on the boards of The Commonwealth Club of California, The Institute for the Future, Berkeley Center for New Media, among others. Through cloud filmmaking via her non-profit Let It Ripple, Shlain has made and donated over 3000 free customized films for schools and nonprofits.
Shlain lives in Northern California’s Marin County with husband Goldberg, with whom she frequently collaborates on art installations and other projects. They have two daughters, Odessa and Blooma, and have received significant media attention based on the family’s weekly observance for what she and her family call their “Technology Shabbat.” They have observed the Shabbat since 2010.

Google Pays Female Workers Less Than Male Counterparts, Labor Department Says
Department’s claims don’t amount to formal charges; investigation is ongoing
Photo: Agence France-Presse/Getty Images
An investigation of Google Inc. has found it systematically pays female employees less than their male counterparts, U.S. Department of Labor officials said, a claim that adds to allegations of gender bias in Silicon Valley.
The Labor Department found the gender-pay gap during a routine probe into whether Google, a federal contractor, is complying with laws that prohibit contractors from discriminating against applicants or employees.
The department is suing Google to compel the company to disclose more compensation data for its investigation. At a procedural hearing before a federal administrative law judge in San Francisco on Friday, Labor Department Regional Director Janette Wipper said the agency “found systemic compensation disparities against women pretty much across the entire workforce” at Google, according to the Guardian newspaper, which attended the hearing.
A Labor Department spokesman confirmed the testimony.
Google, a unit of Alphabet Inc., GOOGL -0.35% said in a statement that “we vehemently disagree with Ms. Wipper’s claim,” which it said it heard Friday for the first time. The company said the Labor Department hadn’t shared the data or methodology it used, and Google’s internal pay analysis found no gender gap.
The Labor Department’s claims don’t amount to formal charges, and Janet Herold, the department’s regional solicitor, said its investigation is ongoing.
But, in an interview with the Guardian, Ms. Herold also said the department has received “compelling evidence of very significant discrimination against women in the most common positions at Google headquarters.” The government’s analysis indicates discrimination against women at Google ”is quite extreme, even in this industry,” the newspaper quoted her as saying.
The tech industry has been under fire for years over the large percentage of white and Asian male employees and executives. Tech firms have started initiatives to try to combat the trend, but few have shown much progress.
The industry is now under scrutiny from the Labor Department for the issue. The department sued software giant Oracle Corp. earlier this year for allegedly paying white male workers more than other employees. Oracle said at the time of the suit that the complaint was politically motivated, based on false allegations, and without merit.

Warrant out for 13 suspected of robbing 7-Eleven, leaving on party bus
HUNTINGTON BEACH – Police have obtained arrests warrants for 13 people in connection with a Jan. 7 flash mob style robbery at a 7-Eleven store in Huntington Beach.
The suspects, who belong to the Los Angeles-based Bounty Hunters Bloods gang, got on to a party bus after the robbery, said Officer Jennifer Marlatt.
Those wanted by police include Donald Byrd, Dameon Jackson, Earl Bernard Jackson, Gilvon LeeMarr Johnson, Troy Locklin, Aaron Phillips, Donell Powell, Fredrick Marlanski, Anthony Deshawn Tiffith, Demetrius Webster, Andre Williams, Wynzel Worthan and Ronshad Yancey.
Detectives have already arrested 11 people on various offenses, including weapons violations, in connection with the heist, Marlatt said.
On Jan. 7 at 11:08 p.m. police received a call from a witness regarding a strong-arm robbery occurring at the 7-Eleven at 706 Pacific Coast Highway, Marlatt said.
The witness said a very large group went into the store stealing items while others in the group pushed and shoved the clerk, she said.
The group then got onto a private party bus that drove north on Pacific Coast Highway. Officers stopped the bus a short distance away, Marlatt said.
There were about 80 people on the bus, requiring Huntington Beach police to request assistance from Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Seal Beach and Laguna Beach police departments, she said.
Seven loaded handguns were recovered on the bus and officers arrested two passengers on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy.
All other passengers on the bus were interviewed and released. An investigation into the robbery is ongoing, Marlatt said.
Anyone with any information about the robbery is asked to call the Huntington Beach Police Department at 714-960-8811. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS (855-847-6227).
Woman with webbed feet found naked and wet by police insists she is a mermaid
Police in California have been left puzzled after finding a self-declared mermaid wandering the streets.
Officers were called to help uncover the identity of the woman, who said only that her name was Joanna and that she was a mermaid. When she was found in the city of Fresno, about halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, she was mostly naked with wet hair, and said she had been in the water in a nearby lake.
Upon inspection, police discovered the woman had webbed toes on both feet. She was unable to provide any further information about her identity, saying simply “I don’t know” in response to most questions.
Fresno Police sources confirmed to The Independent that the woman had been found walking on a road near a lake at around 3am on Tuesday, 4 April.
She was spotted by a driver who stopped to check she was OK. The woman then asked for help and to be taken to hospital. She was driven to a medical centre in northern Fresno where officers were called to help establish her identity.
Officers described her behaviour as “bizarre” are said they were unclear at this stage whether her failure to give her identity was a result of medical reasons or simply a decision not to.
Sources said the woman was “coherent and responsive” but unable to answer officers’ questions. She was then listed as a missing person and the public were asked to help identify her.
Fresno police believe they have now established who she is but are waiting for the results of identity checks before releasing details.
The Target boycott cost more than anyone expected — and the CEO was blindsided
The blog post, published in April 2016, publicized a policy that said transgender customers were welcome to use the bathroom or fitting room that matched their gender identity.
“Everyone deserves to feel like they belong,” the post said. “And you’ll always be accepted, respected and welcomed at Target.”
Target CEO Brian Cornell never approved the post and found out about it only after it was published, according to The Wall Street Journal.
He later told colleagues that he wouldn’t have approved the decision to “flaunt” the policy and that the backlash was “self-inflicted,” The Journal reported.
The boycott cost the company millions in lost sales and added expenses. Shopper traffic and same-store sales started sliding for the first time in years after the blog post, and the company was forced to spend $20 million installing single-occupancy bathrooms in all its stores to give critics of the policy more privacy.
Critics of the policy said it opened the door for sexual predators to victimize women and children inside the retailer’s bathrooms, and more than 1.4 million people signed a pledge to stop shopping at Target unless it reversed the policy.
Sales fell nearly 6% in the three quarters after the post compared with the same period last year, and same-store sales have dropped every quarter since the post.
Cornell didn’t approve the post, according to The Journal, but he supported the policy in interviews after it was published.
“We took a stance, and we are going to continue to embrace our belief of diversity and inclusion,” Cornell said in an interview with CNBC in May.
While Nancy Pelosi been getting in front of every camera she can and shouting gibberish about Donald Trump’s taxes, she has a lot to answer for: like how she accrued a net worth of at least $202 million as a career politician.
Liberals would never shut up about how wealthy Mitt Romney was when he ran for president (and had an estimated net worth of around $250 million), but at least he made his money restructuring failed businesses. And we all know how insane they have been about Donald Trump.
Pelosi began her political career in the House of Representatives in 1987, meaning she’s racked up that net worth in a mere 30 years in public service. Accrued at an equal rate, that would imply a net flow of money coming in (net of expenses) of 6.73 million annually.
As Pelosi continues to be among those calling for Trump to release his tax returns, (which will be an epic fail for Democrats if they’re anything like the 2005 return Rachel Maddow leaked) but she has been accused of ‘insider trading’ before.
In the premiere episode of “The Truth with Dennis Michael Lynch,” co-host Harlan Hill pointed out that Pelosi is one of the richest members of Congress, to the tune of at least $202 million in 2014.
Hill said Pelosi’s husband Paul is an “ultra-wealthy real estate investor and venture capitalist who has been an active investor in large companies that have been impacted by his wife’s regulations,” but yet we don’t have a record of his finances.
“Nancy Pelosi has engaged in insider trading,” Hill said, “because she’s been the beneficiary of information that other people wouldn’t have, so Paul Pelosi is able to make active trades on her insider knowledge.”
H/T: Dennis Michael Lynch
Hill was speaking of ‘insider trading’ in terms of Pelosi influencing legislation ahead of trades. Until Peter Schweizer’s 2011 book “Throw Them All Out” brought this fact to the American public’s attention, most didn’t know that it was legal for members of congress to ‘insider trade’ in this way.
Even 60 Minutes reported on it, exposing how Pelosi exploited the process:
Sound like she’s in it for the little guy?
In her rhetoric only. Typical lib!

The Obama Vendetta, Reprisal and Retribution Pay-Back Administration: Meet Kenneth “The Rat” Cestari
By Tony Leveque
This is as much addressed to the newly minted Secretary of Energy, Rick Perry as it is to the American voters.
Donald Trump and the 2017 Congress have learned the truth about Obama’s insane need for payback via the goons he hired to put hit-jobs, character assassinations and momentum-sabotage on any person, reporter, or policy that conflicted with his Silicon Valley handlers.
Take one Mr. Kenneth Cestari, Obama’s insider at the scandal-ridden U.S. Department of Energy, “officially” with DOE since August of 2009. As he migrated into the Obama insiders club he was still working with the law firm Dickstein Shapiro LLP, who help conduit Sony Pictures money to Obama and tried get get pedophile Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert as a lobbyist shortly after he resigned his seat in Congress. Hastert was later indicted in May 2015 on charges of illegally withdrawing money from banks to pay hush money to an individual that he committed misconduct against years ago. Hastert resigned from his lobbyist position the day the indictment was unsealed. Hastert’s biography was quickly removed from the firm’s website, and the firm also purged all mentions of Hastert from its previously posted press releases. Hastert’s resignation from Dickstein Shapiro following the indictment against him, left the law firm and lobbying firm “reeling,” according to news reports. The firm’s lobbying business had already been struggling; it was reported that the firm had billed $130,000 on behalf of eight clients for the first quarter of 2015, “not close to being on track for its overall 2014 billings, when it brought in $3.7 million for the year.” In the few years preceding the indictment, Dickstein Shapiro had already “faced an exodus of … talent” to rival firms Greenberg Traurig and Cozen O’Connor, as well as “the loss of major client contracts” including Lorillard Tobacco Co., Peabody Energy Corp., Bayer Corp., and Covanta Energy Corp. Following the Hastert indictment, it was reported that Dickstein Shapiro’s biggest domestic client, Fuels America, terminated its lobbying contract with the firm. Shockingly, Trump-hating Ken Cestari remains at his post even as Trump sits in the Oval Office.
Cestari’s job is to avoid any actual human contact or conversation with the public or Congress. Cestari files papers. He files papers that are intimately calculated to manipulate the legal system to Obama’s advantage and to the voters disadvantage. Even though Obama is out of the White House, Cestari is still one of the hit men that tries to find legal tricks which can cause as much damage to Trump (or pretty much anyone) that the departed, but aggressively vindictive, Obama fingers in attacks from his red brick DC mansion where he now delegates payback.
Cestari ran cover for the Solyndra scam, Steven Chu’s scandals, and the huge number of other historically disastrous Obama campaign financier payouts that led to instant bankruptcies, yet epic covert profits, via skims and tax frauds, for those financiers and their schemes.
In one case, a group of Applicants had joined forces to address the stated needs of America’s energy, jobs and security requirements through Department of Energy solicitations.
A Cartel of Department of Energy and White House officials have recently stated that The Department of Energy was being used by the Obama Administration as a “political slush-fund to pay off campaign financiers while sabotaging their competitors…”. Cestari seems to be in the middle of that!
A large number of Applicants were the competitors who were sabotaged by Obama Administration officials including Cestari’s group.
A group of Department of Energy and White House officials have recently stated that The Department of Energy had been ordered to “…never allow those specific applicants to ever receive a drop of funding for the rest of their lives…” as part of the vendetta, reprisal and retribution campaign illegally ordered by Department of Energy and White House officials from the Obama Administration.
Applicants mailed by Ken Cestari include those “specific applicants”. Applicants have submitted over 2 million pages of application material in the current and previous applications, all of which were covered in national media, FBI investigations and Congressional hearings, thus, it is impossible for Ken Cestari to not be aware that Applicants have, in fact, submitted ten times more application data than Tesla Motors. This is a fact proven in a side-by-side comparison of Tesla Motors’ actual application and applicants full sets of materials.
Ken Cestari is fully aware that Applicants are able to prove all of their assertions before a federal Special Counsel in public hearings. He knows what type of corruption-based crimes he is covering up. The current hearings and investigations, already underway, prove that the Obama Administration abused the resources of the intelligence community, DOJ and Agency resources. Obama and his hordes did this in order to operate vendetta, reprisal and retribution campaigns they illegally ordered.
At no point did any DOE officials credibly, nor sincerely, communicate with Applicants to clarify the questions posed by Applicants. Cestari and his team actually avoid talking to any Applicants who are not campaign financiers. In fact, a side-by-side comparison of IC phone logs and meeting logs shows that Applicants received over 200% less interactive support than campaign financier Tesla Motors received. Cestari and his Department of Energy Freedom Of Information staff have refused to allow the public to see Tesla’s original, UN-doctored application. They have violated the FOIA laws by refusing to show it to the public and the media. They won’t allow it to see the light of day because it reveals crimes by Cestari’s compatriots.
Upon presentation of the fact that DOE intends to “…never allow those specific applicants to ever receive a drop of funding for the rest of their lives…” and with the positive progression of multiple lawsuits and investigations proving the above facts, Applicants were advised to stand by while the new Administration reviews the facts and the elements for a Special Prosecutor to work with Applicants.
Thus, the DOE responses produced and delivered by Ken Cestari are illegal, unethical, and a gross violation of the precepts of fairness governing the voters and citizens of the United States Of America. Mr. Cestari is knowingly participating in a felony-class cover up of a “slush-fund” and the vendetta, reprisal and retribution campaign against Applicants and all those who cooperated with law enforcement to interdict those crimes.
Cestari should be fired from the U.S. Department of Energy. America has no room for Obama’s left-over retribution goons. Trump has been hacked by Obama’s team and harassed with Obama’s Russian insiders led by Obama’s DNC goons.
There are hundreds of Obama saboteur/hold-overs still in Washington DC, who are still out to destroy any progress by small business or modern innovations that Obama’s financiers say must be killed off. They have already been caught trying to ruin President Trump’s efforts from within spy agencies and internet companies
Cestari and his progress-killing brood must be rooted out and sent packing. Instead of a promtion, Cestari needs a Jeff Sessions indictment!

TECH BOSS CONFESSES: “I PUT DONALD TRUMP IN THE WHITE HOUSE IN
ORDER TO WIPE OUT SILICON VALLEY’S HORRIFIC CORRUPTION!”
By Marsdale Cedric, Special For BBC Research
I spoke with a very unique character. He has been around Silicon Valley billionaires for quite a few decades and has grown to despise them. “They use people like cattle. They rape, exploit and criminally manipulate state and federal policy for the benefit of their own twisted egos and never for the benefit of the public…” he said. We will call him “Ivan” for the sake of confidentiality.
He told the story of one of the main partners of Silicon Valley investing firm: Kleiner Perkins. Every Friday, this “industry icon” would have eight, or more, naked prostitutes come to his home and read classic books, from his library, to him while he sat in a big leather chair, in front of them, and manually “tickled his pickle”. Ivan arranged a conference call with a former call girl, in Florida, who had been hired for these debauchery sessions. She described a twisted man with twisted control issues who delighted in correcting mispronunciations when each of the ladies typo’d a word. As she aptly put it: “He didn’t pay them for sex, he paid them to be abused and belittled and to make himself feel powerful. The ladies were naked and vulnerable and he minimized them even further because it made him feel good…”
This sums up the twisted personalities of the Silicon Valley Oligarchs and why so many people think that the Silicon Valley mob bosses need to be destroyed and divested of all of their money and power. They are just sick little shits who have no right to spray their digital feces across the internet, say those who know.
Silicon Valley’s Joe Lonsdale is charged with psychological and physical rape. Google’s executive; Forrest Hayes, died from too many hookers and heroin. Google’s Eric Schmidt has a sex penthouse and promotes infidelity. Google’s other founder, Sergey, got caught in a 3-way sex romp with his own employees. Google has paid out incredible sums of money to silence so many sex charges that it would make Bill Cosby blush. Silicon Valley’s Tesla VC Ravi Kumar also suffered death-by-hooker. The largest number of marital abuse cases and hooker services in the USA take place in Silicon Valley. Most of Silicon Valley heads of to Burning Man to promote sex orgies. Almost every Silicon Valley VC and Tech CEO came from one of the fraternity houses under investigation or suspension for date rape and organized misogyny. Silicon Valley’s Uber and Tesla Motors have a huge number of sex abuse matters filed against them. Facebook’s Dov Katz was arrested for arranging under-age sex schemes. Elon Musk’s programmer ran the Dark Road drug and murder-for-sale site. Google investor Mike Goguen was sued for anal sex-slave trafficking. Tech CEO Christina Noren and Ellen Pao have publicly exposed the warped “boys club” of Silicon Valley. Microsoft hires under-age costumed strippers for its Bay Area parties… get the point?
I could list THOUSANDS of police and court documented perversions, abuses and crimes that the Silicon Valley oligarchs engage in every single day but their true crimes are far worse and far more vast.
These guys made deals with government officials to personally harm YOU in order to put cash in their pockets. They spy on you for personal profit and ideological control of your thoughts. They feel that if you don’t think the way that they think, then you need to be “corrected”. Single Valley has become the “Thought Police” of George Orwell’s famous book: “1984”. You have heard of subliminal messages but did you know that every single line on Facebook, Google, Amazon, Ebay, Snapchat, Twitter, Linkedin, Reddit and their clan are subliminal messages and structures designed to steer you to think like Mark Zuckerberg and Eric Schmidt?
You have now seen the Wikileaks CIA electronic tactics documents that were recently leaked but did you realize that Silicon Valley was already using all of these mind-control tactics on you before the CIA even tried it on the Middle East? Google and Facebook used these hidden mind manipulation tools to get you to buy Pepsi and Pampers and to vote for Hillary Clinton so that Google could make profits by controlling your politics and brand knowledge.
That is the real way that Silicon Valley abuses you. They bend you over and shove it all the way up you until it snaps onto your brain stem. They rape your mind!
Facebook, Google, Amazon, Ebay, Snapchat, Twitter, Linkedin, Reddit and the Silicon Cartel lie about how many people use their systems. They lie to advertisers in order to justify fake bills. They lie to politicos in order to play all sides of the table. They lie to you about the truth of their manipulated, manipulative, misleading, inaccurate, half-truth, BS, agenda-biased main-stream propaganda disguised as “news”. They sabotage all competitors, reporters and insiders who speak out against them.
They do not deserve to exist and must be bankrupted into oblivion. The FTC must be driven to file the biggest anti-trust charges, in history, against them. They must be wiped out.
So that is why our friend put Donald Trump in The White House!
The ex-call girl convicted in a Google executive’s heroin overdose death is now in the custody of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Federal immigration agents were waiting for Alix Tichelman, who holds dual citizenship with Canada, as she left a California jail just before dawn on March 29. She had just completed a nearly two-year sentence on an involuntary manslaughter charge.
The 30-year-old prostitute injected her repeat customer, Google employee Forrest Hayes, with an accidental, but fatal dose of heroin during their maritime romp in 2014.
She tried to revive the dying 51-year-old, but gave up as he slipped into unconsciousness. She finished her red wine and left his yacht parked in the Santa Cruz harbor.
ICE requested a 24-hour hold on Tichelman a month into her imprisonment in 2015 — and again two days before she ended her sentence, early, cops said. Tichelman was slapped with a five-year sentence but was released earlier for good behavior.
“ICE agents were on hand at 5 a.m. March 29 when Ms. Tichelman was released,” Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Clark said in a statement to the Santa Cruz Sentinel.
Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office refused to honor ICE’s request, citing the state’s TRUST Act. The measure prohibits law enforcement from using immigration holds to keep inmates behind bars beyond their sentence.
Clark added that this is the fifth time ICE agents have staked out jail waiting to detain inmates upon release.
A large movement of Independent, Libertarian, Right Wing, and Truth Movement crowd funded content creators, who also depend on Google Adsense revenues, has organically formed on YouTube and it has a massive follwing. The “Alternative Media”.
The arrogance of the Mainstream Media and the Globalists during and after the 2016 Presidential Election only helped to propel this movement forward. A large protion of the MSM’s viewership turned away by media bias, and those who already consume most of their news online, gravitated directly to Alternative Media.
Since about Barack Obama’s second term, and reaching a crescendo during the 2016 Presidential Election it’s viewership, listenership, and readership has expanded formidably and now rivals that of the Mainstream Media.
This has the Globalists in a complete panic as they are watching their propaganda machines ratings being overshadowed by people with video editing software and an internet connection, a smartphone, or a webcam.
In a push to create a corporate policing entity over free speech on the internet, tech giant Google has implemented new measures for dealing with the rapid growth of Alternative Media.
Content creators all across the spectrum of alternative media are seeing their viewership numbers and Adsense revenue drop literally over night. Google has been quietly using shadowy tactics.
- Removal of Anti-Globalist related search terms from Google and Youtube search
- Removing of videos from the “Trending Feed”, or prevent videos from trending.
- Thousands of subscribers to popular alternative media YouTube channels are reporting that their subscribed channel notifications are being turned off on their favorite channels.
- Thousands of content creators are reporting video, website, and blog demonetization overnight.
- YouTube claims they violated “TOS”, or claim that the topic of the content is considered “not advertiser friendly”.
- Several prominent content creators are reporting their AdSense or AdRoll accounts are terminated without propper explination and no ability to overturn the descision.
The Mainstream Media however is not being limited in any way even though they are covering the very same “Sensitive Material” as some of these YouTube channels. Google is attempting to prop up the Mainstream Media’s ratings and revenue both on T.V. and Online while simultanously becoming the overseer of the Internet.
Google is pushing forward to become the internet police force for the Globalists, squashing their opposition in hopes of stifling the Populist/Nationalist movement from continuing to spread globally which threatens their agenda to finish installing a technocratic corporate global government.

Former US Attorney: Susan Rice Ordered Spy Agencies To Produce ‘Detailed Spreadsheets’ Involving Trump
“What was produced by the intelligence community at the request of Ms. Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals,” diGenova told The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group Monday.
“The overheard conversations involved no illegal activity by anybody of the Trump associates, or anyone they were speaking with,” diGenova said. “In short, the only apparent illegal activity was the unmasking of the people in the calls.”
Other official sources with direct knowledge and who requested anonymity confirmed to TheDCNF diGenova’s description of surveillance reports Rice ordered one year before the 2016 presidential election.
Also on Monday, Fox News and Bloomberg News, citing multiple sources reported that Rice had requested the intelligence information that was produced in a highly organized operation. Fox said the unmasked names of Trump aides were given to officials at the National Security Council (NSC), the Department of Defense, James Clapper, President Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, and John Brennan, Obama’s CIA Director.
Joining Rice in the alleged White House operations was her deputy Ben Rhodes, according to Fox.
Critics of the atmosphere prevailing throughout the Obama administration’s last year in office point to former Obama Deputy Defense Secretary Evelyn Farkas who admitted in a March 2 television interview on MSNBC that she “was urging my former colleagues,” to “get as much information as you can, get as much intelligence as you can, before President Obama leaves the administration.”
Farkas sought to walk back her comments in the weeks following: “I didn’t give anybody anything except advice.”
Col. (Ret.) James Waurishuk, an NSC veteran and former deputy director for intelligence at the U.S. Central Command, told TheDCNF that many hands had to be involved throughout the Obama administration to launch such a political spying program.
“The surveillance initially is the responsibility of the National Security Agency,” Waurishuk said. “They have to abide by this guidance when one of the other agencies says, ‘we’re looking at this particular person which we would like to unmask.’”
“The lawyers and counsel at the NSA surely would be talking to the lawyers and members of counsel at CIA, or at the National Security Council or at the Director of National Intelligence or at the FBI,” he said. “It’s unbelievable of the level and degree of the administration to look for information on Donald Trump and his associates, his campaign team and his transition team. This is really, really serious stuff.”
Michael Doran, former NSC senior director, told TheDCNF Monday that “somebody blew a hole in the wall between national security secrets and partisan politics.” This “was a stream of information that was supposed to be hermetically sealed from politics and the Obama administration found a way to blow a hole in that wall,” he said.
Do You Think Susan Rice Violated The Law?
Doran charged that potential serious crimes were undertaken because “this is a leaking of signal intelligence.”
“That’s a felony,” he told TheDCNF. “And you can get 10 years for that. It is a tremendous abuse of the system. We’re not supposed to be monitoring American citizens. Bigger than the crime, is the breach of public trust.”
Waurishuk said he was most dismayed that “this is now using national intelligence assets and capabilities to spy on the elected, yet-to-be-seated president.”
“We’re looking at a potential constitutional crisis from the standpoint that we used an extremely strong capability that’s supposed to be used to safeguard and protect the country,” he said. “And we used it for political purposes by a sitting president. That takes on a new precedent.”

Super SEALs: Elite Units Pursue Brain-Stimulating X-Men Technologies

Military.com | 2 Apr 2017 | by Hope Hodge Seck
At a conference near Washington, D.C., in February, the commander of all Navy special operations units made an unusual request to industry: Develop and demonstrate technologies that offer “cognitive enhancement” capabilities to boost his elite forces’ mental and physical performance.
“We plan on using that in mission enhancement,” Rear Adm. Tim Szymanski said. “The performance piece is really critical to the life of our operators.”
Szymanski expanded on his remarks in a brief interview later, saying he has his eye on a number of technologies, including pharmaceutical aids. But the results of one breakthrough involving the direct application of electrical stimulation to the brain have particularly caught his eye.
“In experiments, people who were watching these screens … their ability to concentrate would fall off in about 20 minutes,” Szymanski said. “But they did studies whereby a little bit of electrical stimulation was applied, and they were able to maintain the same peak performance for 20 hours.”
Transcranial electrical stimulation was one of the technologies touted by then-Defense Secretary Ash Carter in July 2016 as part of his Defense Innovation Unit (Experimental), or DIUx, initiative. Since then, multiple SEAL units have begun actively testing the effectiveness of the technology, officials with Naval Special Warfare Command told Military.com
“Earlier this year, Naval Special Warfare units, working with DIUx, began a specific cognitive enhancement project with a small group of volunteers to test and evaluate achieving higher performance through the use of neuro-stimulation technology,” Capt. Jason Salata, a spokesman for the command, said in a statement.
The elements testing the technology include Naval Special Warfare Development Group, the unit known more popularly as SEAL Team Six. Other teams are also conducting tests, Salata said. He declined to confirm how many operators are participating in the testing, or to cite specific findings to date. But there have been positive outcomes so far, he said.
“Early results show promising signs,” he said. “Based on this, we are encouraged to continue and are moving forward with our studies.”
The company that makes the brain-stimulating device — a headset that could be mistaken for a pair of Beats by Dre headphones — is Halo Neuroscience. And the technology offers not cognitive enhancement, but neuro-priming, Chief Technology Officer and Company Co-Founder Brett Wingeier told Military.com.
Developed for elite athletes, the headset purports to work by stimulating the brain to enter a state of hyper-elasticity, allowing users to learn better and more efficiently. In physical training, he said, the technology has proven useful in developing explosive power for athletes whose sports require vertical leaps or sudden starts.
For operators, the same system could improve shooting performance, Wingeier said.
“Whatever you’re training on as far as a movement-based skill,” he said, “if you do deep practice, hard repetition, this accelerates the benefit of that.”
In a study conducted with the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association, ski jumpers observed a 13 percent gain in propulsion force and 11 percent gain in jump smoothness compared with a control group over four weeks of using the device, according to data promoted by Halo. As testimonials note, marginal improvements can make a big difference for elite athletes — a statement arguably true of special operators as well.
For the notoriously hard-training and sleep-starved SEAL community, the device offers greater efficiency in training, allowing operators to train less and see the same results, or train at the same level and get a boost in performance.
“They’re training at this amazingly high level, and the amount they can train is actually limited by things like physical recovery,” Wingeier said. “They want to be able to maintain those incredible physical standards as efficiently as possible. That helps them avoid injury. If I was to sum it up, it’s kind of all about just training a little bit smarter.”
Wingeier said the number of Halo devices being used by elite units for testing is “in the double digits,” adding they are being tested at five military installations. Even compared with the athletes the company has previously worked with, he said the focus and determination of SEALs is impressive.
“It was a real learning moment for us about special operations and about the military. It’s super impressive just how enormously skilled everybody is,” he said. “They spend a lot of time thinking about what they do and honing their craft. A lot of what they’re interested in is, in terms of physical training, they want to build and maintain these amazing physical skills, but to just do so as efficiently as possible.”
Although some experts have warned that the full long-term side effects of using neuro-priming to improve performance may not be known, Wingeier said lab tests have repeatedly proven that the product, which is commercially available in a sport configuration, is safe.
But Andrew Herr, CEO of research firm Helicase and an adjunct fellow with the Center for a New American Security, suggested the question of side effects should be approached more leniently when dealing with troops whose lives are at risk in combat.
In the context of medical or pharmaceutical performance aids such as modafinil — commonly used by fighter pilots — or amphetamines, he said there has been significant resistance in the medical community to prescribing them as performance enhancements because of their inherent side effects.
“The concept’s that if you’re not healing, then no side effects are worth it or acceptable,” he said. “[But] when you’re sending people into combat situations where their lives are on the line, the ethics are flipped … I think actually we are thinking about ethics all backward in this field because the military has a unique requirement. And it’s even more powerful in the special operations field.”
The most useful proven performance aids are much lower-tech than transcranial direct-current brain stimulation, Herr said. They include things such as performance nutrition, supplements, legal stimulants such as caffeine, and even meditation, which has been proven to improve focus and attention and decrease the effects of not getting enough sleep.
In addition to neuro-priming, Herr said technologies, including application of light frequencies and biometric feedback, have been shown to boost performance and cognition.
Regardless of the technology or method, he said it is important that the military conduct robust tests and demonstrations on aids to human performance, contributing resources to making the warfighter stronger and more resilient the way it did to developing cutting-edge aircraft and gear.
“You really want to test these things in high-end training environments, which could tell you, do these matter in a warfare scenario,” he said. “We need to really believe that investing in the human makes sense.”
Szymanski signaled an interest in testing other performance-enhancement technologies, as well as pharmaceutical aids such as blood testosterone in the future. But he said he’s approaching the field of enhancements carefully, with an eye to side effects, and warning operators not to take the first steps on their own.
“I’m always anxious, because I’m in a community of risk-takers,” he said. “Guys may want to try experimenting on their own, which is against policy and has to be completely drug-tested and those types of things. So I’d want to do that in a very systematic kind of way.”
Marvel Exec Claims Forced ‘Diversity,’ Female-Led Comics Responsible for Slump
David Gabriel, Marvel’s Senior Vice President of sales and marketing told icv2.com that Marvel has been struggling to sell comics because, while feminists and progressive activists pushed for more diversity in comics, minority and female heroes, Marvel’s core fan base just weren’t interested.
“What we heard was that people didn’t want any more diversity…that’s what we saw in sales,” Gabriel said. “We saw the sales of any character that was diverse, any character that was new, our female characters, anything that was not a core Marvel character, people were turning their nose up against.”
Of course, the social justice warriors themselves weren’t happy with Gabriel’s statement, and forced him to clarify what he meant in a second interview. Gabriel noted, in his follow-up statement to icv2 that Marvel’s “diverse” characters weren’t going anywhere – but that comic book retailers were telling the company that the feminist and “diversity-focused” comics just weren’t selling.
Marvel has been seeing comic book sales slump for a while, Gabriel said, but things got really dire in the Fall of 2016. The timeline seems to coincide with Marvel’s decision to turn away from its fans, and experiment with addressing SJW concerns about the comic book industry.
Of course, SJWs are still adamant that they were in no way responsible for Marvel’s decline, citing everything from uninteresting storylines to the rising cost of comic books. And they’re partially right: consumers have superhero fatigue, and Marvel was plaguing its typical customers with constant reboots and crossovers (as well as some ridiculous storylines – Captain America a secret Nazi spy?).
But Gabriel wasn’t speaking from his own personal experience: he was telling icv2 what retailers were telling him – retailers for whom Marvel is only one of many different comics publishers. Tastes have changed, they said, and people want good comics – not just comics that have female and minority heroes for the sake of female and minority heroes.
That might be at the heart of Marvel’s failure: if you’re going to make a comic book with a female hero, it still has to have an appealing, exciting, engaging storyline – and more than few of Marvel’s attempts at female-led comics just didn’t.

White House’s Susan Rice: U.S. national security agencies are too white
In a White House often accused of being stacked with loyalists, President Obama’s national security adviser said Wednesday there are too many white people in key government posts, endangering national security because they think alike.
Speaking at Florida International University’s commencement, Susan E. Rice, who is black, said a diversified government workforce is more likely to yield “better outcomes” than a predominantly white one.
Referring to criticism that the U.S. national security workforce is “white, male and Yale,” Ms. Rice told the graduates, “In the halls of power, in the faces of our national security leaders, America is still not fully reflected.”
“By now, we should all know the dangers of ‘groupthink,’ where folks who are alike often think alike,” she said. “By contrast, groups comprised of different people tend to question one another’s assumptions, draw on divergent perspectives and experiences, and yield better outcomes.”
Her comments were reminiscent of Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who said in a speech in 2001, before Mr. Obama appointed her to the high court, “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”
Ms. Rice elaborated in her speech on how having more minorities in the national security field would better protect the homeland.
“Intelligence analysts, diplomats and military officers who are native speakers may pick up subtle nuances that might otherwise go unnoticed,” she said. “Diplomats who can read cultural cues may better navigate the political and social currents of a foreign nation. In sum, leaders from diverse backgrounds can often come up with more creative insights, proffer alternative solutions and thus make better decisions.”
White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Mr. Obama agrees with that sentiment.
“The president certainly believes that our government is most effective and is making the best decisions when we have a government that looks like the country,” he said.
Mr. Obama has been criticized for increasingly surrounding himself with an inner circle of aides who think like him and reject advice outside the West Wing, particularly from the Pentagon. In his second term, he is said to rely most heavily on a handful of trusted advisers, including chief of staff Denis McDonough, a former NSC official; Ms. Rice and her deputy, Ben Rhodes; U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power; Treasury Secretary Jack Lew; and Vice President Joseph R. Biden.
The president often hits back at his critics, saying he doesn’t surround himself with “yes men” and that he presses his advisers for all points of view during internal policy debates. Still, former Defense secretaries of both parties such as Leon Panetta and Chuck Hagel have said they felt shut out sometimes by the president’s cadre of West Wing advisers.
In her speech, Ms. Rice also made an apparent reference to presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump when she criticized “voices out there that disparage our diversity — that question whether America should welcome people of all races, religions and creeds.”
“Those voices can be loud. They can be intimidating,” she said. “They can make us feel like we don’t belong. Let fear be their problem, not yours. Shake it off. Ignore the haters.”
The daughter of Jamaican immigrants, Ms. Rice was a leading contender to become secretary of state in President Obama’s second term, but she fell out of contention after the storm of controversy over her role in the administration’s “talking points” on the Benghazi terrorist attack in Libya. The attack, which killed U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans, was blamed initially by Ms. Rice and other top officials on a spontaneous riot over an anti-Islam film produced in the U.S.
When it became clear that Senate Republicans would not tolerate her nomination as the nation’s top diplomat, Mr. Obama appointed her as his national security adviser instead, a post that doesn’t require Senate confirmation.
In her commencement speech, Ms. Rice said U.S. national security agencies “have not yet drawn fully on the strengths of our great nation.”
“Minorities still make up less than 20 percent of our senior diplomats [and] less than 15 percent of senior military officers and senior intelligence officials,” she said.
“Why should we care? For starters, a diverse national security workforce enables us to unlock all of our nation’s talent,” Ms. Rice said.
About 82 percent of career Foreign Service officers are white, according to the State Department. Seven percent are Asian American, 5.4 percent are black and 5 percent are Hispanic. About three-fifths of them are male.
More than 25 percent of the State Department’s civil servants are black, while 6.3 percent are Asian and 5 percent are Hispanic.
Mr. Earnest said he didn’t believe Ms. Rice was criticizing the president, who has been in office nearly eight years, for the lack of diversity in senior diplomatic and national security posts. He noted that Mr. Obama has appointed more minority judges, about 120, to the federal bench than any other president.
“The president has made it a concerted effort to encourage Americans of all backgrounds to consider a career in public service,” he said. “The best way for us to ensure over the long term that the senior ranks of government positions are filled by people who reflect the diversity of this country is to ensure that … they’re considering a career in public service. Giving more minorities in particular the opportunity to start a career in public service and rise through the ranks means that future presidents will have a much more diverse pool of applicants to consider when making senior-level appointments.”
He said the impact won’t be seen in the short term.
“But the president is hopeful that 15 or 20 years from now that a future president will have a more diverse pool of applicants to choose from when considering senior-level government appointments,” he said.

Internet Censorship Around the Globe
Depending on where you live, free and open access to the information and entertainment found on the internet might seem like more of a right than a privilege. But for folks who live in some of the world’s more restrictive societies, some or even most of the internet remains tantalizingly out of reach, blocked by government censors and their firewalls.
The majority of such internet censorship is employed in the name of combating software piracy and other types of illegal file sharing (including torrents and file hosting sites such as New Zealand’s controversial Mega.co.nz). It’s interesting to note, however, that while such traffic is actively condemned by both governments and intellectual property advocates alike, corporations such as Netflix are using torrent activity to help them plan their own (legal) offerings.
Another justification for widespread censorship and monitoring of legal content (including torrents, political and social media, and yes, pornography) is state-enforced morality. Countries engaged in this sort of censorship often claim to be looking out for the welfare of their citizenry, but critics are quick to point out that the countries with the most censorship are often the same ones with a history of aggressively suppressing public protest or political unrest.
If you’re taking a trip around the world and plan on accessing the internet (including basics such as email and social media) while you’re on the road, you may need to review and adjust your itinerary if it includes heavily-censored countries such as Eritrea, China, Somalia, or the famously secretive and regulated North Korea. Torrent users — even those who rely on the embattled tech to share legitimate, legal files — might find themselves out of luck no matter where they go.
It’s not just moral or intellectual outrage that’s driving censorship, of course. With the issue of Net Neutrality dominating news in the tech sector, the specter of another form of censorship — selective or restricted access based on corporate policies, as compared to government intervention — has reared its troubling head. Regardless of the form, it’s clear that equal and open access to the internet is something no one can afford to take for granted any longer, and that the discussion of how much — if any — of the internet can or should be censored will continue far into the future.
Internet Censorship World Map
The internet, and our freedom to use it as we please, is a contentious issue. Whereas access in some countries can be unrestricted for any materials its government deign legal, in others censorship ranges from governments blocking the dissemination of political opinion, to blacklisting pornographic and social media websites.
|No evidence of censorship of legal content|
|‘Default On’ – content censored unless access requested|
|Limited access with blocks and monitoring on many sites|
|Access with heavy restrictions, censorship, and sanctions|

Most democratic countries have little Internet censorship, mainly to control piracy. However, some countries limit access to information and suppress discussion among citizens, often in anticipation of elections, protests, and riots.

46% Of Millennials In San Fran Ready To Move Out; Blame Housing, Traffic & Trump
A growing number of snowflake millennials are saying they can no longer stand to live in the preeminent American ‘safe space’ of San Francisco because the “rent is too damn high”, the traffic is too damn congested and, well, President Trump. According to a new poll conducted by the Bay Area Council, 40% of all people living in San Francisco say they’re ready to ditch the city for greener pastures while the number is even higher among millennials at 46%.
A growing number of Bay Area residents, led by millennials (18-39), are looking to greener (or less expensive) pastures as the region’s housing and traffic crises combined with an astronomical cost of living take their toll, according to results of the 2017 Bay Area Council Poll released today. The poll found that 40 percent of respondents are considering leaving the Bay Area in the next few years, with millennials leading the way at 46 percent, along with those who spend the biggest share of their income on housing.
“Losing our youth is a very bad economic and social strategy,” said Jim Wunderman, President and CEO of the Bay Area Council. “But until we get serious about building the housing we need we’re going to continue seeing our region drained of the young and diverse talent that has helped make the Bay Area an economic powerhouse. We know what the solutions are – streamline local approval and reduce fees and regulatory costs – we just need the political will here and in Sacramento to make them happen. It can be done, it must be done and we’re working now to get it done.”
Meanwhile, the number of people saying they’re looking to ditch the city jumped 6 points versus 2016.
Of course, housing and traffic were the most cited reasons that people were looking leave San Fran. But, in a rather surprising new addition to the list of complaints, President Trump also showed up as a key threat to life in the Bay Area. Perhaps, the snowflakes of California’s northern shores aren’t aware that even if they move elsewhere in the country that President Trump would still be their president?
So it’s probably not at all surprising that a growing number of people think San Fran is on the “wrong track.”
Santa Clara County, home to Silicon Valley and some of the region’s most expensive housing, has the highest number of residents thinking of finding a new address outside the Bay Area, at 47 percent. Across the entire region, renters (50%) are also much more likely than homeowners (31%) to want to cast off, while those who have lived in the Bay Area the longest are far less likely to want to exit than those who have more recently arrived.
“We’ve pulled up the welcome mat,” Wunderman said. “A healthy, growing economy needs new blood, but resistance to new housing combined with the grind of traffic and an ever-lengthening commute are closing the door to new residents, to a new generation. The Council is addressing these problems by supporting new funding at a state level to fix roads and highways, advocating for federal funding to increase capacity on Caltrain, working to expand regional ferry service and urging employers to promote greater use of carpool and rideshare technologies. On the housing front, the Council last year sponsored the only significant housing bill to win approval, making it faster, easier and less expensive for homeowners to add affordable in-laws units. This year, we’re working with legislators on a number of bills to streamline housing approvals that represent our best
hope to address the state’s massive housing shortage.”
Seems like the flood of tech gurus swarming San Fran have just found out that their $200,000 salaries will buy them the same lifestyle as a $60,000 salary in any other ‘normal’ American town.
Here are the full survey results.
The Rotting of San Francisco, A City That Decayed From the Inside Out.
By Not Supervisor Peskin
All of the cool people are moving out of San Francisco as fast as possible in order to leave the place to the infestation of Google douche-bags and Chinese tax evaders that have turned San Francisco into a festering hell hole of pretension, hubris, self-aggrandizement and asshole-ness.
The Millenium Tower, the new sky scraper in San Francisco, is falling over and sinking into the ground just like many hope the whole city does, now. The Millenium Tower bribed enough politicians to look the other way so that it could be built fast and cheap to house the Millennial Douchebags. Now nobody wants it. It sits in full view as a towering monument to San Francisco City Hall’s losing battle with corruption.
The last 4 Mayors of San Francisco have been notoriously embroiled in real estate corruption. The current San Francisco administration is no different. In fact, one ex San Francisco Mayor: Dianne Feinstein, has now been voted “One of the Most Corrupt Politicians In History!”.
One would think that the billionaire crowd would have gotten the city all polished up but that never happened. The billionaires never venture outside of upper Fillmore street, and Hayes Valley, so the city only keeps those areas clean. The rest of the city constantly smells like baking urine and feces. Filthy rags and used condoms peek out from every alley, bush and between the cars that were lucky enough to find one of the five parking spots left in San Francisco.
Everyone walks around San Francisco staring at their Facebook page on their phone as if it mattered one iota. They are fools whose brain chemistry has latched onto the device the same way an alcoholic latches onto cheap whiskey.
The poor people, who could not afford to leave the city, huddle in doorways and sit on curbs begging for money. More of the poor arrive everyday because San Francisco DNC leaders wanted to make The City an example of how migrants can swell voter registration. Aside from the monthly murder by those immigrants, that program is going to plan. All of the naive young children that convince their rich parents that “it is all happening in San Francisco”, get a condo in San Francisco, paid for by daddy, and they grow a beard like this:
The beard serves no better purpose than to more publicly flag them as assholes and spoiled brats who have no clue how the world really works.
To further the corruption, San Francisco politicians took tens of millions of dollars of bribes from Google, Twitter and Facebook to let them run covert buses through the City in order to whore the brand out to The Silicon Valley Cartel. Google, Twitter and Facebook paid for the DNC campaigns so it is fitting that they, and the City that they bought, all die together. The world, generally, has realized that Google, Twitter and Facebook are the same Cartel of privacy abusing, data harvesting, perception manipulating, CIA-funded psychotic billionaires who will stop at nothing to expand their bank vaults and political power.
The billionaires have caused the whole city to be “under construction”. The traffic jams have become epic. There is no safe place to walk in the City unless you want the Urine-Everywhere smell to saturate your clothes like that Starbucks caffeine and coffee smell that can never be washed away.
The idiots that moved from Stanford University to raise a family in San Francisco were the first to go. The schools are dangerous. The parks are full of trash, pedophiles, trannies, pot and stray dogs. You are afraid to take your baby in a stroller and the majority of San Franciscan’s have stopped having babies because it is no longer cool. San Franciscan’s think that having babies is a scam created by bankers to addict you to debt.
The San Francisco Yuppie Supervisors and the San Francisco Convention and Visitor Bureau constantly proclaim that stories like these are just focusing on a few bad aspects but go the San Francisco’s Japan Town and walk south. Go to Union Square and walk Southwest. You will see.
San Francisco died because of corruption.
Political leaders, hired by the people, took instant Google cash payola for their pockets instead of long term designs for the public community.
The shops are no longer cute and interesting. They are desperate, over-priced and commercial.
The tourists are fatter, more distant and express greater disdain.
Everything you heard about in your tour-book has a layer of grime and filth that holds the germs, sweat and fear of a million other suckers that have come before.
Gonorrhea and STD’s have again reached an epidemic status in the City. Sex clubs and sex with anybody and anything is back in vogue.
Every single event that San Francisco puts out turns out to have huge amounts of the budget from that event disappear into the pockets of somebodies friend from City Hall. The City agencies bounce from one scandal to the next, each more horrific than the last. It is as if the whole place just gave up.
16 “law firms” in the City are known as the go-to guys when you want to launder money to a City Hall official. It is a City government based on absolute corruption at the expense of every person who lives in, or near San Francisco.
p class=”western” style=”margin-bottom:0;line-height:100%;orphans:2;widows:2;”>Casey’s Moving only moves stuff from the Symphony and Opera buildings. Only one bunch of Italians get to do the garbage. Only McCune gets to do the sound systems. For each and every City service there is a precise and long-standing kick-back and payola scheme with an insider. Herb Caen once confided, at Sam’s Restaurant, that City Hall was run by a bunch of mobsters that could put the Mafia to shame. He was right.
A federal jury has awarded $100 million to the operators of a gravel mine after finding that Sacramento County, California, officials put them out of business with legal and regulatory measures in order to benefit a rival company. Three county officials were also found personally liable. County aggregate resources manager Jeff Gamel was hit the hardest, with the jury ordering him to pay $1 million to the miners.

The Marin County Corruption
– What to do when County officials engage in political reprisals and idealogical vendettas against you!
By Andy Cosgrove and The Marin Alliance
Are public employees who hate Trump, or hate Obama, using their public offices (that your tax dollars pay for) in order to attack you because they hate the current President or they hate your politics? Is that legal? No! It is a violation of the law, a violation of the U.S. Constitution and a violation of the trust of the public. Here is what you can do:
File public-interest lawsuits for RICO, Civil Rights violations and related corruption charges against the top 10 county administrators, PERSONALLY, the county itself and the attacking investigator, personally, for abuse of office.
Publish a WIKIPEDIA book on the internet, ASAP about the entire incident naming all of the names involved.
Contact the Secret Service to advise them that a public official is using Government resources to express their intentions towards the acting President.
Investigate the top 15 county officials, and their campaign financier,s and track-back every: Hooker use and sex party activity; Off-shore tax evasion account; Un-reported or improperly documented Illicit family trust fund; Covert construction company and building supplier ownerships which inure to those officials through payola and kickback deals; All of their pedophilia crimes; Nepotism hires, and every other traceable illicit action which clever private and public investigation and forensic science can uncover.
Seek Federal defunding of the entire County and contact every federal entity that has ever distributed funds to the county within the last 10 years to demand defunding of that County.
Deploy a global website that documents each and every corrupt person and their corrupt deeds in the county (ie: http://xyzcase.xyz)
Use the peer-to-peer investigation network of millions of voters and current and former intelligence and law enforcement contacts to eradicate any and all improprieties in the County and place all County staff under long term surveillance using Voat.co, Reddit.com, Facebook, and all social media.
Send out bi-weekly national press releases with updates on the investigations.
Hold public TV press conferences in front of the offices of officials engaging in such reprisals.
Use ALL of these entirely legally actions WITH the support of Congressional officials and Federal law resources.
Make absolutely certain that every voter in the County knows that the defunding and the ruckus is because of these officials. You can even name the whole scandal after the Chief Administrator of the County or the investigator who was doing the reprisals so that everyone knows who to thank for all of the hassle.
You can now easily eradicate these corrupt public officials, wipe out their pensions, expose them in global media, have them arrested and indicted and end their ability to abuse public offices. They work for YOU. They are YOUR employees. Hold them to task! Thousands of dirty officials have been terminated, 100% legally, using these tactics!
In Marin County, California an incredible number of public officials have been caught having sex with the children of the local populace and then using their offices to cover up their underage sex crimes. In addition, the greatest disparity of millionaire vs. poor people exists in Marin County yet, guess who all the bosses of Marin County government and the Judiciary are: Millionaires! The poor (under $75K/Yr. Total family income) are consistently set upon in Marin by bureaucratic fascists who feel that anyone who is not pulling in a cool million are “sub-humans”. In fact the majority of Marin County are not even remotely millionaires and that majority is tired of getting a boot on their head every time they look for justice. These bureaucrats must no longer be allowed to prey on our children, our poor and become fat off the trough of the public’s taxes.
They get away with these things because they live in a bubble in which they believe they are “untouchable” and that nobody is their boss. Tell them now, Tell them Today: YOU ARE THEIR BOSS!
Pedo-like Marin County Bosses should no longer get to think that the public is their day labor and realize that every one of the Elitist Political Mob Bosses lording it up under Frank Lloyd Wright’s big blue domes are the tools of that very public! The Alliance Against Marin County Corruption is asking everyone to participate in an Anti-Corruption program by reporting on, discussing and exposing Corruption in Marin County by adding #STOPMARINCORRUPTION as a hashtag, or keyword, on all of your social media when exposing corruption in Marin County.
Marin Residents are stepping up to the task, even if their elected officials won’t do it!
